G Train, Q/N/R lines Train,

:upsetfavre:

You can take the LIRR from Jamaica to Atlantic Ave

G train is worthless and goes like 2 stops in BK. R train is fukking horrible...running local through lower manhattan:scust:. Q train sucks (I lived off of it, fukk it). N is ok. Q and N are your best bets and you still have to go through manhattan to get from queens to BK:scust:

This summer I took the A from 125th to Rockaway. shyt was 90 minutes.
The whole train ride I was like :why:

Breh I made the mistake of being cheap and not taking the LIRR from Jamaica and took the A from the airport back uptown. I wanted to cut my wrists. The amount of despair and :flabbynsick: on the ride thru Queens/Brooklyn was depressing. Not to say that the Bronx/Uptown isnt on its own bullshyt but I dont know how someone in their right mind could stomach that trip. You could literrally fly to DC in the time it takes to get from Queens to Uptown on the A, which is supposed to be a fukking express train. Imaging getting on the C trail along those local stops

Moving from Philly to NY, I didnt think would be a big cultural difference, but goddamn :damn:
Im staying in Jamaica, Queens, but I want to live farther north soon, maybe Flushing or Elmhurst.

- NY'ers aint soft. I aint seen no violence, no fights, not even a gun, but I can tell niccas aint suckas.

- Nikkas think my Philly accent is "country" :mjcry:

- So many cultures and diversity. Seems like whenever I see a brother, and say "wassup", breh responds in a crazy ass accent, either Jamaican/ African/ French/ some shyt i dont comprehend...
I cant hold a convo with them Jamaican niccas, breh.

- That E train is a journey

- Shyt is segragated as hell. I aint seen no white people at all in Jamaica, only black and Spanish. Flushing seems to be all Asian. Jackson Heights is Middle Eastern. Corona/ Elmhurst is Latin. All the cacs is in Astoria and LIC (expensive as hell).

- The ladies :blessed:

- Seems like people not from Queens hate coming here. I told Brooklyn and Harlem people that I live in Queens and they do the :mjpls:
So accurate...especially that last statement.

It kinda makes you wonder. If Cacs are driving up the prices for ya'll up there. Then what is the end game? Where are the native NYers gonna move to? What is the Future of NYC?

Just a whole bunch of 2nd childhood ass yuppies and new blacks :scusthov:

The endgame is a fake as version of Dubai where theres tons of $$$ here and all the brown people live in the outskirts and just work shytty retail jobs and at Duane Reade. Seeing how shyt is/can be here is a glimpse of what the rest of the brehs in the middle of nowhere in this country are dealing with

real talk. BX is the only part of NYC cac's haven't infiltrated. cacs even moving to east new york now:ohhh:

People can say what they want about the BX but its still the realest of the 5 boroughs, even with all the bootleg development they are trying to do here.

Cold shyt :wow: ,

Has there ever been a real explanation on why Cacs willingly want to spend 1.5g+ a month to live in a one room shack in the hood. What is the fascination with yuppies and rich cacs from middle American wanting to drop big bucks to live in Brooklyn and Harlem. Is it a economical reason like jobs or something? Or do they just wanna be down?

Brooklyn
I was out in Amityville recently & that place looks like a war zone. A lot of these Long Island towns are starting to look like extensions of Brooklyn & Queens from the 80's. It's not nearly as nice as it used to be from what I've seen recently.
breh you gotta peep this area in LI called Wyandanch

i went through there and shyt had me :mindblown: fukking twilight zone as soon as you cross these train tracks i saw crackheads, crown fried chicken, chinese owned hair stores :russ: shyt reminded me of bk

i just googled wyandanch and this is what comes up :dead: mind you this is LI :wtf:

image.JPG

what bugs me about this is its next to Dix Hills one of the richest parts of LI

well for one, the hood isnt a "place". Its a mentality. Because the second some CACs move in, all of of a sudden the area is magically rejuvenated and worthy of clean/paved streets, nice shops and police patrols where a motherfukka doesnt randomly get blasted in the chest in a dimly lit staircase

Hmm interesting:ohhh:.

So they are actually rejuvenating these areas, then boosting the property value up. Its a catch 22 then, they are actually helping restructure the city, but making it more difficult to live in for minorities. Seems like the real problem aint the cacs, but how the local goverment feels about blacks and latino's and their living enviroments.

Shiiiiiiiiiiiit back in the day no one wanted to be seen in LIC unless they were driving a truck to one of those factories but now its condo city. These yuppie CACs have literally drained the soul from this city, which is why I'm chilling in the Bronx til the wheels fall off.
I remember sophomore year of college me n 2 roommates chose between Astoria and Williamsburg. 2 really nice 3 bedroom places right by the train. $2000/mo :mjcry: We chose Astoria :mjcry: I could prob still be making money subleasing it today :mjcry: My last 1 BR in Manhattan was more expensive :mjcry:

Look, they will have a few "prospectors" go out and live in these areas to help set the stage, but in reality you have property owners colluding to boost up entire areas in a cash grab while getting a pat on the back from the city. ANd then you have so many outsiders with money coming in that these fukkers can help but take their $$$. Its not like the CACs moving in to these areas are New Yorkers from other places. You have people from lord knows where America (some with money) who are willing to come here and live that NYC life for a few years while trying to get out their dreams (fair enough I guess). But lets be real, this city, like many cities, operates in a system where they want things the way they want, and some magical black utopia isnt one of them considering how much money is flowing thru this place.

IMO, only solution is to at least attempt to own something. It doesnt have to be some sprawling mansion but some understanding of ownership is needed

G Train, Q/N/R lines Train,

:upsetfavre:

You can take the LIRR from Jamaica to Atlantic Ave

The G is the only one that goes directly to/from Brooklyn. The rest will have you going through Manhattan first. The only other routes that go directly to/from Brooklyn and Queens are the M (which dumps you off in Middle Village), the A and J

You want to go from Broadway Junction to LGA?

From Downtown Brooklyn to somewhere along Roosevelt?

If your destination isn't near the A, G, J, or M and you're going into Queens from Brooklyn, you can look forward to a multi-leg trip

Shoulda stayed in Astoria breh. WIliamsburg is a CAC hipster shytshow and is infested with shady landlords who throw up buildings that are sub-cardboard quality. The ONLY reasons to be there would be if you were pulling in tons of $$ and p*ssy and just happen to be one of the "coolest" dudes in the neighborhood. Astoria is more balanced out, ethnically diverse (few blacks tho) and has excellent proximity to the city in relation to the rest of Queens (except LIC)
