People who have seen have been saying Keke has a standout performance and is excellent in the film.

The movie wasnt bad...its just that Jordan Peele appeals to those inept in critical thinking. He comes off pretentious as fukk to me and his dialogue is very Taratino-esque tbese days. But I dont hate the film. Just a spectacle.

US was betrayed by it's marketing. it looked like it was supposed to be an exorcist-type film but it was really a sci-fi horror. when you go in knowing that it's good too.
I haven't seen nope yet but it looks like they learned from us and are marking sure you understand that aliens are involved and it's not supernatural this time.

There was nothing complicated or “deep” about NOPE though. He infused it with some historical facts but he wasn’t beating you over the head with any overdone tropes or “social commentary”. nikkas are mad that a writer is trying to make them think a little
This is why Hollywood only makes superhero films and remakes of shyt. nikkas don’t like originality or anything that isn’t surface level.
I’m actually still waiting on an analysis or critique of the film. All I keep hearing from nikkas is “yo Jordan tries to be too deep, this nikkas trash” but can’t string together two sentences breaking down their thoughts on the actual writing and filmmaking of the film. Jordan Peele makes forgettable ass movies. Nope is just another movie that I'll never watch again and I'll forget it even existed in like 2 weeks. I dunno why that upsets people so much, MOST movies fall into that category.
He had one with Get Out, that movie stuck with people. The rest could have went straight to hulu and nobody would have cared.
