So Jerruh Jones thinks Deion Sanders would have shut down Megatron. Thoughts?

Deion had more trouble with quicker guys. He'd give Calvin the biz but he'd need slight help because on jump balls you can't do much if that bytch nikka 6'5

Could Prime shut him down? Sure.

Could Calvin go off on him? Sure.

We're talking about two all time greats; any given Sunday rules apply. If we we're talking over the course of a career with them in the same division, I'd give the nod to the guy playing in the rules friendly era (i.e. Prime in the 90s, Megatron now)

The question is not whether Deion could shut down Calvin, but rather could he shut down Stafford and the answer is yes. As another poster mentioned, Deion plays the QB before he plays the WR, he's not really focusing on what Calvin is doing which is where a lot of corners fukk up. Calvin is a freak of nature, you can't out-athlete him, no one can, forcing Stafford to make a bad read should be your first objective. As for the one on one matchup, I've seen Tillman have success, I've seen Revis have success, hell Eric Weddle completely locked Calvin down on some 2 for 19 shyt back when Utah beat Tech in the Emerald Bowl :win: so I don't see why Deion couldn't. Too bad we'll never know.

prime my fav athlete to root for ever, so i'm a lil biased, so hell yea I agree with jerry....he could cause he'd have Stafford looking like a damn fool...only thing that would save cj and Stafford would be which rules was being played under...if it's the rules of today, cj could out muscle deion cause they let the wr get away with everything while the cb cant do nothing.....if it's the rules of yester years, cj/Stafford in trouble...prime would jam that big muthafukka at the line to throw off timing, then live on his hip waiting for Stafford to throw some dumbass pass....

on side notes:

damn this got me thinking about prime in action...the time that muthafukka got an int against the oliers and started high stepping at the 40 cause he knew he was gonna score lol....the time he was going against the rocket and he baited the qb into throwing it deep; qb overthrew the rocket, but not deion...the time jerry wouldn't shake his hand/give him dap at the line lol....the int against the falcons where he ran it back looking at the falcon sideline the whole time....prime was that muthafukka...he was the reason woodson didn't get the props he deserved until much later in his career...hell, the same goes for a lot of cbs, just cause he was that damn good...

Why does everyone just keep using this term "out-muscle" and "stiff arm slants" lmao

This is not Madden 14, its real life. We are not talking about a one on one basketball game this is real deal football. CJ has to run routes and get open and catch the ball. CJ probably will not get open.

I mean I know we live in a short term memory era, but CJ had 4 catches for 44 yards THIS YEAR VS CHARLES TILLMAN, and 3 for 25 THIS YEAR VS JOE HADEN. So wtf are you guys talking about with all this fantasy bs - in a real game, CJ has to get open and make a catch by running a real route. Deion shuts downs CBs and routes, period.

And a 6'1 200 lb corner is HUGE - what the hell - most corners are 5'9 - 5'11 lol...And Deion was a 6'1 200lb corner that ran a 4.1....

I would take Prime Randy Moss over CJ anyday....

Bro Randy Moss was 6'5 and ran a 4.2 - 4.1....

In CJ's career, he has 535 catches for 8,657 yds and 61 tds...

Randy Moss in that same span of 7 ys?
575 catches, 9142 yds, 90 tds. 1 64 YD PUNT RETURN TD

Calvin Johnson would have to score 40 tds this year to catch up to Randy at this point in his career LMAO....Moss's QBs never went to Pro Bowls without Moss until he got to New England - His 10TH year in the NFL when he was supposed to be washed up he scored 23 TDs....

Prime Randy was the best WR I have ever seen in my life hands down, Im sorry....Like its been stated, Charles Tillman eats CJs food, you have never, NEVER seen one DB strap Moss in his prime....NEVER...
