Fiction can bear fruit, science fiction is one example. It does not mean I have to believe in the actual fiction for the ideas to be fruitful. With infinity, every possibility is available, so effectively nothing is fiction. Since truth and fiction are actual concepts rooted in time & space though, which are not infinite, then I choose to only consider what is true and what is false based on the time period it is being discussed.A better question is this
if infinity is real and time is negligible. What is truth and fiction when stretched long enough?
A better solution, is both truth and fiction bring forth fruit. Which tastes better to you?
