the problem I have with this is he was clearly fatigued. he was logging more minutes than anyone. 46 minutes? they probably couldve won the series if he could play every single minute but one game he went out for a few minutes and the Warriors went up 21-10. in that instance I can see where a guy like Melo can help them offensively. he cant stop anyone but at least the game would be even when Bron finishes resting. Kyrie is a great one on one scorer but the offense struggles with him being the sole scoring option. Love Kyrie but this is why I feel as PG, Wall and Thomas are better. They can collapse a defense better.

He only averaged 2.6 more mpg than KD, and if you want to be in the GOAT conversation you have to be prepared for this type of criticism. LeBron's minutes were no higher than MJ's or Kobe's in the finals, they were lower when you look at some series. Let's also not forget that coming into the finals these were two of the most rested teams we've ever seen. Cavs went 12-1 in the Eastern conference and had over a week off didn't they?

LeBron is still better overall on individual production. Fans and haters will say KD is superior because of his performance with the Warriors. But folks don't realize how much talent is on the Warriors...and how well they drafted, and developed their players including FAs like KD, Iggy and McGee. The GM is the real MVP. They play great team basketball and have a very effective bench. Cavs bench is washed the fuk up...expected more from Deron Williams and Korver...and why Derrick Williams didn't get enough minutes.

LeBron could win more finals if GSW isn't there....no team can match up well with GSW except maybe SAS and we were robbed of seeing a healthy SAS team play them thanks to that goon Zaza. If you put Bron on the Warriors and switch KD to the Cavs the Finals wouldn't have lasted 5 games.

That would take all of the fun out of watching the Warriors outside of seeing Steph throw Bron oops.

His scoring is effortless, he's a legit threat from any point on the floor, if you leave him open he will kill you, he's difficult to shoot over, quick enough to catch up to you if you get by him. KD is a cheat code basically. He's a 7 ft Jordan prototype basically, and Lebron is Scottie. Both are great, but one was clearly the superior player on the floor.

Well LeBron made this team to be this way, he got the roster he wanted, but his style of play doesn't work on a wholesome team that makes him work on the other end because he made the team full of spot up shooters that can't create for themselves. LeBron had a similar leap as KD when he originally joined Miami because he didn't have to do as much and could focus on other aspects of the game. However, LeBron isn't getting passes for being awful on defense because we've seen superstars have to carry an offensive workload but still play elite defense on their matchup time and time again.

If I take Kevin Durant off of Golden State and replace him with Harrison Barnes, the Warriors still make the Finals.

If I take Lebron off of Cleveland and replace him with Harrison Barnes, the Cavs don't make it out the 2nd rd.
