to who? to you ? because I been palying it 4 times a day since its release and its the same thing for my homies

and its the gighest rated album of all time

nobody cares aabout your personal preferences (those preferences determine what has replay value for someone).

i assumed that when i prefaced my comment with "I LIKED", it's obvious that i was giving my opinion...y'all K.Dot stans are irritable in the mornings...

i could give a damn if it's the highest rated album of all time, it's not even the best to drop this year...

you saying nobody cares about my personal preference and then telling me about you and your corny homies play count is hypocritical...this album isn't important and people are over it...check the streets, check Twitter, check facebook...

Quality/Substance >>>>

Aubrey is a glorified Nelly to me, but that's his lane and he's good at it. But that mainstream success don't last forever. Quality does.
Not that this should be a Drake vs. Kendrick thread, but Drake has a ton of acclaim for the work he does too. There's a huge difference between Thank Me Later and more cohesive projects like Take Care and Nothing Was The Same

I feel like his next album will take at least 2 years. Writing songs with live instruments and writing solos takes longer than a drum machine. If he decides to go the live instrument route again, that is...

The new album was good and over rated, but it has staying to hold him for another year imo. This new generation of rap fans are spoiled with a bunch of pre album mixtape before an album releases, and a mixtape right after an album releases from these artists.

If Kendrick decides to drop an album three years from now will people be checking for it? Will there be hype for it? The answer to those questions is yes so he doesn't need to speed up his album production process because his real fans will continue to buy his albums. He doesn't need to be an run of the mill artist that makes albums every year to stay relevant.

I don't know if the answer is yes. His diehard fans will check for it, but there may be a new guy at that point. There are way more examples of people falling back and no one caring about them when they come back than vice versa. Pop culture moves on fast. Staying near the top is a rarity. @ineedsleep212

Care to name some of those examples of people falling back and no one caring about them when they come back? And how long did they fall back?

Im not the biggest fan of TPAB but he has enough status as an artist to take break between releases. I think more artist should follow his lead.
