This might actually be the point where people snap out of it and realize that we've been on this trajectory for decades, that money in politics has become the deciding factor on issues and hopefully make people more aware of rhetoric or the need to be more discerning about what they're told...but that's an optimistic take that is probably not gonna change much. However, I think trump won b/c liberals underestimated whiteness. People genuinely thought that Clinton was going to win b/c it made logical sense.
