Well, I dont think the Mavs champ team was built for longevity. Cuban decided to make a run for younger stars and build for the future. You can't knock him for trying.

Exactly. Cuban trying to build for the future. He tried the signing vets and got a ring. Had a good draft and about to have good cap space

They won 3 straight games against LA that LA usually wins and then had an NBA Live 2002 performance behind the arc in game 4.
OKC was young and wasn't ready. They beat the Mavs this year even if they remain in tact.
All those old nikkas were motivated by a shot at a long sought after ring. Hunger ain't gonna be the same after getting it (see Dirk coming in outta shape).

 at the :skip: level spin job about the two top free agents. Deron is 28 and there was no FA higher than him.

lol my bad
i meant ray allen and nash.

they swept la dog
i dont care bout games la "usually wins"
dallas whopped dem
den beat a solid okc team
young or not, a lot of ppl had em losin to portland in da first round:snoop:
so i aint tryin to hear dat
then they beat da big three

ill never understand why teams dat win championships break up their teams da following year
makes no sense

now they at square one

C/S

It's better to destroy & rebuild and have a down year or two, then to spend the next 5-6 years dwelling in mediocrity because of bad contracts and impulsive decision making.

He took a gamble and it backfired.

He said last year it's the way the league is set up now.

Either way, if Lamar Odom even played like he gave a damn at all, the Mavs win at least 2 of thsoe games against OKC in 1st round....who knows what happens from there.

However to me, now that Jason Terry is gone, this team is done.

Cuban pulled a Jerry Jones move.

They saying the MAVS could've still resigned Tyson Chandler and Caron Butler after last year. :snoop:

That team wasn't going to repeat anyways to be honest. It was one of those lighting in a bottle type deals.

After him being a strong voice about CP3 going to my squad, im glad he didn't get a good point guard either
