Sasha Banks is the future , Bayley and Paige with Charlotte, the division will get better.

They might have to call up Sasha, Charlotte, Becky & Bayley all at the same time. We've been getting the same 5 Divas (AJ, Paige, Bellas & Naomi) in the title picture for more than a year.

Hopefully Sara Del Rey can help out now that she'll be working with the main roster Divas. Sasha vs Becky was MOTN while the triple threat last night was a glorified piss break.

Nikki isnt the problem here. While the Bellas do suck its Vince's infatuation with them that is making it get to this level. The only thing i can fault them for is something i can fault AJ for as well. Walking around with a false sense of accomplishment because of who youre fukking and not the little they've done.

As much as it is easy to bag on the top women they're not the main problem. Vince loves to just push 2 or 3, while the rest are background, arm candy or jobbers. It seemed like the women were rattled by the match Becky & Sasha had. Naomi Paige & Nikki's match was poorly put together, structured, didn't even bother telling a story. It was just a botched spotfest.

Not for nothing but Naomi is sloppy in the ring and if you saw the match last night you would have seen botch Paige move and really injure her legit there. She is good but you got fukking stupid to think she a top 5 wrestling diva now with that upcoming NXT talent there. Best thing for N is a transitional title run then back to development to really improve. She is the definition of B- player.

Or have the other Divas step of their in-ring abilities. Outside of a very few Divas, WWE have some of the worst female wrestlers. Going from women's to Divas have really hurt the division.
And for Paige to be touted as great indy-bred, WWE refined talent, she should've known how to take that flip move from Naomi. The problem is NOT Naomi. Its Vince allowing subpar in-ring talent get so much leeway and shine off of mediocre skills.

Nikki is the best worker on the main roster right now though, just like AJ was when she had her long reign. Paige has been exposed as all the people she did good work with in NXT are even better while even her matches with AJ were sloppy let downs. Naomi still routinely makes several mistakes in any long match she has, Tamina is terrible, Brie is terrible. Nikki has been the common denominator in every good Divas match for the last year or so.
She really doesn't get enough credit on this site for how much she's stepped her game up. She is a genuinely good worker now and head and shoulders above her peers. When the NXT girls make it to the main roster, Nikki is the only current Diva who will be able to work at that level.

Saying Nikki is the best working in the division is like saying Cena is the best worker in the WWE. And that is not true. In fact, the both Bellas have been one of the common denominators in WOAT Divas matches over the past four years.
And why did it have to take a break, fukking Cena, and a promise of title reign for Nikki to step up her game?
Yes, Naomi is going to come off as botching when she is working with people that cannot keep up with her style of wrestling.
If and when the next wave of NXT ladies are called up, they will expose Nikki like Naomi and others.

One of the problems is, while every female is trying to get their spot, there is no one to carry the match.

I dont really care who the diva champ is as long as we don't have to hear, "Cmonn Nikki" over and over.

If you knew from the jump that your hard working leading up to this match was not going to be rewards, would've you done flashy spots to get people's attention?

I have nothing much to add because I agree, OP, but I like the fact on TSC that it's majority male, but ya'll understand the importance of every division including the Women's/Diva's Division.
There was a time where I was more interested in the women wrestling than some mens' matches back in the Attitude Era and Ruthless Aggression Era. Even some of their feuds were more interesting.
I know that Naomi not having the championship isn't going to change anything, but it would be nice to see a Black champion for once. The last one we had was Alicia Fox and how long ago was that?

The Divas champ, at this point, is about crossover exposure. Especially moreso now since Total Divas exists.

You can get mainstream exposure with AJ, Nikki Bella, Charlotte, and Paige to a degree. They will also move merch.

Naomi aint gettin the belt for those reasons, and if she does it's a quick reign. Natty either.

How do you know what potential Naomi has if you don't give her a chance in the first place? Naomi could push merchandise and have crossover appeal if they invest in her like The Bellas, Paige, AJ, etc. Here's the fact: They just don't WANT to do it. There's a reason why she wins non-championship matches, but when it comes to the championship matches, she loses. This is on purpose.

Let's not sit here and act like race don't play a factor. It's not Naomi's fault.

Not really. Trish and Lita was pretty much pushed as a package deal to appease all fans. And Punk had legit competition.
Maybe when it comes to Cena due to sheer amount of merch and unnecessary pushes and titles reign received over the course of his career.
