Kanye's last album runs should've changed the game too, by turning album releases into exclusive concerts/events/content that wouldn't be available on any platform.

Taking it back to the early days of hip hop when ppl had freestyles from a concert on a Maxell 90 and would listen to it religiously, bad sound quality and all.

I like the unpredictability of the music biz today. Album's success aren't just mostly held to first week sales anymore. Anything can be a hit now. shyt can actually have a decent slow burn, and it's more accurate cuz they seein what ppl are listening to in real time
