So no thread on Miguel-Sure Thing going Number One on the pop chart 12 years later? :mindblown:

I always love it when the game changes.
Crazy.
I just hope it catches on.

Kanye's last album runs should've changed the game too, by turning album releases into exclusive concerts/events/content that wouldn't be available on any platform.

Taking it back to the early days of hip hop when ppl had freestyles from a concert on a Maxell 90 and would listen to it religiously, bad sound quality and all.

Pardon the rant. I had time today.
Yes, this sounds like a way for record labels to make money, release music that’s available no where :childplease:

It's a way for artists and the true owners of the culture to get their power back.

They can eventually release the music on their own terms.

This only works for artists who are on their own label, like a Kanye. It’s not viable for an up and coming artist nor artists signed to labels

To be fair this is a hip hop/rap forum. Somebody could have posted it in the big R&B thread or sumn
If an artist is Hip-Hop/R&B and their project is good, regardless of genre, it will be posted in the Booth.
