I don't see the point for Russia to do this, unless you're talking about rivals factions within the russian power structure.

Russia and Iran have just taken all the leverage that Turkey had. Russia can now go to turkey and say "your islamic extremism that you have assisted in Syria, has now killed one of our diplomats, no more credibility for you"

Possible, but I'm not convinced. Turkey already lost all credibility even among its western allies.

I might also add the Kurds to the list.

Remember, Turkey is supposed to meet with the Iranians and Russians over the Syrian Civil War

Kurds wouldn't risk it, it would justify Russia looking away while emboldening Erdogan to crush them

Let's wait and see the aftermath of this tragic event. It's too early to know who did what. At this level, everything is possible, even the most twisted scenario.

Yeah, but a too close relationship between Russia and Turkey might also be dangerous for the Kurds. They've been abandoned many times. They still remember it. Radicals factions may be afraid that the deal will include Russia leaving them in the hands of Erdogan. They have an historical chance to finally have their country. So they might get nervous. At this point, they are among the potential suspect. Let's see.
