Steph has too little longevity to be 4th best PG all-time but I fully expect him to reach that level when it's all said and done.

1. Magic
2. Robertson
3. CP3
4. Nash
5. Stockton
6. Jason Kidd
7. Frazier
7. Payton
8. Thomas
9. Curry
10. Billups

At this rate, it's just a matter of time before Curry passes Isiah, Payton, Frazier and Kidd to me.

I've been thinking about my rankings while I sit in this staff meeting. :lolbron:

1. Magic
2. Oscar
3. Stockton
4. Zeke
5. GP
6. Frazier
7. Kidd
8. CP3
9. Nash
10. Steph

Tiny, DJ, Hardaway, KJ, Price, Billups, Greer, and Wilkens after that.

I wanted to find a spot for D-Rose Chi-town MVP but I can't put him above any of them.:mjcry:

Mark price
Larry Nance
Big brad
Buck and duck
Cliff Robinson
James edwards
Drazen petrovic

Chris Jackson
Chris mills
Bobby phills
Reggie Lewis
Jeff hornacek
Thunder dan

I can start to list even more just stock players.
Who were not perrennial all stars and just stock roster guys who were way better than these new guys.
As these stock roster players could have or were all stars or the talent pool was to rich.

How many more do you want.
The older players were way better in every possible way.
It is not even an argument.
The new guys don't compare to the older guard.
If we go back to the aba/nba it is even more.
We are watching an inferior product and it is all made up for by marketing to close the apparent gap.

nikkaz trying to talk sports and don't even know we are in the low bball IQ era.

We were talking about the 60's - 70's era of ball breh. Big O didn't play against those dudes

yea i said that too.

but i have magic rated higher as a PG.
but oscar rated higher as an overall player easily.

some days i have oscar rated as the overall goat. im probably one of the few people under 50 that realize this tho.

by that logic, the '80s and '90s cats should be out of the rankings by now as well.

dont single out the elder fellers just because theyre of no sentimental value to you.

nah.

you just dont care to know your history.

It's not out of disrespect that Oscar shouldn't be on the list, it's just that his era shouldn't count because it's far too different than ours, we don't even have footage of most of it.

When Big O got drafted, there was only 8 teams in the league. When he retired, there was only 17 teams in the league. That's a big difference, that is entirely too different from our league today. That's not to mention that half of those teams sucked, so they ended up playing some of those weak teams more than just 4 times. Completely different league back then.

I feel like guys like Wilt, Bill, Big O are legends, but never be put on some kind of list like this.

Stockton is the best point guard I ever saw. Magic is a better player... probably... but not a better example of a point guard
.
Stockton just gets shyt cause hes a cac and he wears shorts that a teen girl would wear to 1970's summer camp. :snoop:

All-time steals leader... John Stockton
All-time assists leader... John Stockton

To put it in perspective... He has so many fkn assists that Karl Malone is #2 alltime in scoring... over Kobe, Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain :dead:

If Kwame Brown was on the Utah Jazz in the 90s he'd average 16 points per game just from being on the same squad as Stockton.
There are dudes like Jeff Hornezack that they basically found at a homeless shelter and put in a Jazz jersey with no training, and John Stockton was getting them like 8 points a game off the top.

:mjlol:

The way Steph Curry shuts the PGs of today down with his handles and shooting...:whew:
You try crossovers and shyt for 48 minutes vs Stockton you are just gonna end up with a shytload of turnovers vs the alltime steals leader of the nba.

And if your gameplan is to get into a one on one back and forth shootout from 3 vs John Stockton... :dead:
Its just not a sound strategy... even for Steph.

Don't do Jeff like that, breh. He's a shytty coach, but he was getting 20ppg for the Suns before they traded him for Charles Barkley.

Growing up in LA, my whole family was Lakers fans. Some of my earliest memories is of my uncle going "AWWWW SHYT:damn:" every time Jeff released a jump shot.

He used to kill the Lakers in the playoffs.J was automatic
