Oroko Saki
The Shredder
Welcome to 1997...So whens that DMX debut album coming?
It was a clever line lol..but have you seen anyone outside of SOHH/Coli use it?
Nah..yall overrating the impact of this line.
nikka you said in 1995 ll was still going platinum, but during the bulk of 95' he hadnt dropped a platinum album in 5 yearsAre we gonna pretend this wasnt a trying time for LL? Hoes wasnt even talking about this nikka anymore. That nikka was on the ropes and mr. smith brought him back to prominence in hiphop. He probaly was jealous like when he punched jaime foxx.
People definitely use this shyt offline. I've seen and heard - with my own two eyes and ears - a nikka use the line 5 feet from de la soul in their rehearsal/dressing room. Maseo looked up in shock from the video game he was playing on some :Oh shyt: shyt. The dude who said it wasn't even thinking about the fact that de la soul was in the room with us, he was describing the lack of attractive females at the show. I was trying mad hard to keep a straight face, and I shot him a look like :jackeenikkaplease: but homie was too high and drunk to realize what he had just said.
:pachah2: I woulda busted out laughing at this
I thought the term was only exclusive to SOHH cats..guess i was a bit wrong![]()
You're missing the context breh.
Song was called "Old School", mentioned "LL raisin hell but that didn't last". Also "LL when he Rocks the Bells".
Doesn't matter if LL didn't go plat for 5 years. The song Pac referenced was "Rock The Bells". It came out in '85 breh. If that was LL's only hit, or if he didn't go plat '85-'95, I could understand. But he put out 3 albums before "14 Shots To The Dome", and they all went plat or multi-plat. He dropped 1 gold album, then went right back to 2x plat with "Mr. Smith".
So his career was never cold. This is probably why he took the Pac lines the wrong way.
Fred.
The term is stupid. Larry Holmes was damn near fifty beating the shyt out of youngins. I think he even won a championship. If Suge and Pac ran up on him he would've beat them to a pulp.
So out of every rapper in the game, pac decides to diss LL on the slick, on MATW? Meanwhile giving passes to biggie whom he claimed "stole" his original MATW (crucified) concepts and sound? Did 2pac diss any other rappers on the entire MATW? Over Kidada, whom he hadnt even met till 96'?
That wasnt a flop? LLCOOLJ was a hiphop superstar whom went gold with a few lackluster singles in the process.
Look at what Boomin system, around the way girl and mama said knock you out meant when they dropped. Then compare to pink cookies, back seat of my jeep and that other bullshyt. Then look at what hey lover, loungin rmx and Doin it meant when they dropped.
nikka 14 shots was a clear flop in comparison to both of those albums
tupac looked like he was 37 when he died. nikka got that greg oden syndrome

u a real fukk nikka. I dressed up nothing and said precisely what i meant. That other nikka was blatantly wrong and i proved thatdont try to dress it up.
you were making it seem like he dropped a string of albums and was cold during that period. in reality, he dropped that 1 album and was off doing other stuff. and while "14 shots" had dissappointing returns by LL standards, it wasnt a flop. and every single you just mentioned was a popular hit.
2pac aint look no dam 37.
thats what im saying. that line never made sense to me.
how can pac say "that didnt last" when LL lasted longer than everybody?

Didn't Fat Joe diss Pac on the I Shot Ya remix as well?![]()
if a nikka saying ll was still going plat and the album DIRECTLY BEFORE THE DRAMA WENT GOLD and i corrected him,I CANT BE WRONG,faq. Is everYthing i said true,YEP. SO....watch your mouth wierdo.
you purposely made a vague statement.
we saw what you did and called you out for it. youre not fooling anybody but simpletons like yourself.
i always wondered this.
and why did pac square off with keith murray? because keith was on the song?
