So we all agree Camel is looking at a one hot album every 10 ten year average pace?

I like both. But outside of album sales and popularity, Nas just has the better discography. The only Jay album that I can listen to start to finish and consider a classic is Reasonable Doubt. If you think Jay has three classics your stanning him hard, or you need to evaluate what constitutes a classic album. Illmatic, It Was Written, The Lost Tapes, Stillmatic and Life is Good is better than Jay's catalog.

To me I Am.. is a solid album the cohesion wasn't great but the guess features from Diddy, Aaliyah, DMX and Scarface were solid. It also has one of Nas' best songs Nas Is Like. The album is unfairly hated on, it was the perfect mix between Illmatic and It Was Written.

Irony in this statement is that nikkaz wasnt calling RD classic till Momma Loves Me

So...it kinda makes this statement seem silly

I'm a harsher critic on Nas than most Nas fans because I think I Am and Nastradamus both pretty much sucked. I Am had its moments, but most of the songs were wack to me. I stopped fukking with him altogether until Stillmatic won me back.

But overall, Nas >>>> Jay, obviously. I don't know how any serious hip-hop fan thinks that shyt is debatable. It literally makes me laugh. Nas has a superior discography and superior emceeing talent. Saying Jay is better than Nas is like saying Kobe is better than Jordan, or Kevin Garnett is better than Tim Duncan. And those comparisons are generous.

i'm just waiting for the day that they both release another album where you don't have to skip a bunch of tracks. nas last one was lost tapes and jay's was the blueprint. i didnt let american gangster or life is good soak in enough so im ignorning those. its so funny how they get crazy diickrode and yet you have to sit there and shuffle through so much of their music to enjoy it. basically they've been living off their past for long enough...

Then refute the post i left u dumb west indian fakket:umad:

Nas's career is peon status next to Jay's so calling Nas Jordan is :snoop:

Jordan is recognized as GOAT on a major plane

Nas lacks the recognition to be compared to Jordan...and it is for a reason(his lack of charisma, flow variation, which limits the beats he can spit on which results on his albums having shytty production, boring delivery and writing wise..isnt even worthy to spitshine Jays shoes when it comes to double entendres and wordplay

So no Nas aint no Jordan
Jay is the GOAT and has more justification to be GOAT than Nas does

Hell..Nas being a GOAT is pretty much hilarious:bryan:

Lol...this post is indicative of the shallow teeny-bopper talking points used by camel stans whenever they try to claim he's the GOAT. "He's popular. He's charismatic to closeted homosexual men like me. He uses cute double entendre nursery rhymes." :russ:

This is disrespectful to the craft of music

And its obvious you have no respect for it

Charisma or the energy you provide in your music is an important aspect of MCing
The use of Double entendres and play of words is a portrayal of skill with the pen
Also u missed out my point of flow variation and cadence(s)

Ofc the common hip hop fan alot of times dont usually know how to pin point those two aspects, for the most part those 2 are very important aspects when it comes to how much music lovers enjoy ur music and how long u last in the rap game in general.

But its obvious u dnt rlly care nor do u understand these elements and I mean how could you..you're a smartdumb Nas stan
But hopefully maybe someday you'll understand these elements and how to recognize them so you can actually seem more credible in conversation with me.

Till then..all u are is a smartdumb Nas stan who dnt know no better and is easily impressionable by obscure metaphors and mediocre delivery and amatuer like flow variation

And you still wonder why Jay stans bring up relevance/longevity :russ:

nikka go back to higher learning u smartdumb fakket u aint nothing but a smartdumb Nas stan around here and take this as not only a warning shot but as a lesson dumb mufcka

:usure: Let's break this down.
The Black Album came out in 03. Many people (including myself) considers it a classic.
Kingdom Come dropped in 06. :snoop:IMO this is Jay's worst album. It had a few nice tracks, but overall it was a very average album.

American Gangster was next in 07. American Gangster was the shyt. Its a classic to me. Even you as a Hov hater had to admit it was a hot album.

Blueprint 3 came out in 09 and its another hot album. nikkas on the coli is the only people I know that hate on BP3. Jay's lyricism is underrated on this.
He was spitten hard on "What we Talkin About", "Thank You", 'Venus vs Mars""Already Home, and So Ambitious". Also Empire State of Mind, Run this Town, and On to the Next one was hits.

Even Watch the Throne was a decent album. 1 hot album every 10 years is not even close to being accurate.

I was gonna kill a couple rappers, but they did it to themselves
I was goin' do it with the flow, but they did it with their sales
I was goin' 9/11 'em, but they didn't need the help
And they did a good job them boys is talented as hell

Blueprint 1 was released in 2001 which is 12 years ago, breh. Check the thread-title... :rudy:
:pachaha:
Dude mentioned American Gangster which came out in the same decade as The Black Album and Blueprint 1, all of which came out LAST decade.
:comeon:
Jay-Z hasn't released a Solo album in THIS decade.

I think you might need to reread that op breh.

SMH. I like both Jay and Nas, no stan sh*t. Hov's albums are only better in album sales, Nas has better albums in terms of acclaim.

I feel you but cmon son, you basically said nas has FIVE classic albums by saying that all those albums you listed are better than jay's discography (RD included which you considered classic)...

Nah I meant those five albums are his best albums, basically his best 5 are better than Jay's best 5. The only classics there are Illmatic and It Was Written, I'm not like some of those Tupac stans that think all his albums are classics.

:what: Lol...what are you mentioning which decade the albums came out in for? What does that have to do with anything?

I said Jay has one hot album in the past 9 years. I didn't say Jay has one hot album within the last two 10 year increments designated as a decades per the roman calendar.
