So we all agree Camel is looking at a one hot album every 10 ten year average pace?

Nas's last 4 albums have been received better criticially than Camel's last 4 albums :yeshrug:

Nas still won

Won what?

A grammy? :troll:

Even when naus stans wanna hand the King of Hip Hop/GOAT an L, he ultimately wins :pachaha:

It made me realized at how Hov been dropping classics after classics.

BP3, pop masterpiece.

Blueprint, classic

TBA, Hov's goodbye.

Kingdom Come, A true Sean Carter album. :ohlawd:

American Gangster, dope concept album.

BP2 :manny: it was trash but still better than anything the l king naus has dropped.

:what: Lol...what are you mentioning which decade the albums came out in for? What does that have to do with anything?

I said Jay has one hot album in the past 9 years. I didn't say Jay has one hot album within the last two 10 year increments designated as a decades per the roman calendar.

He still winnin though

Does it matter at this point? He still manages to get the world to shut down every time he releases new music.

Besides he has bigger plans.

:what: What is up with all these camel stans who can't take any criticism of their boy without bringing up Nas? Does any critique of Jay's work automatically warrant a knee-jerk critique of Nas?

Anyway, Nas has a couple of duds in his catalog (I Am, Nastradamus) and a couple more lackluster joints (Hip Hop Is Dead, Streets Disciple), but he's never had anywhere the dry spell that Jay is currently in. It Was Written and Stillmatic were 5 years apart. God's Son and Untitled were 6 years apart.

You can talk about Jay outrapping Kanye all you want, but the bottom line is it wasn't a Jay album, it was a collabo album, so it's not included in this conversation, nor would Distant Relatives be for Nas. And like DR was mostly a Damian Marley album, WTT was mostly a Kanye album. Both albums were conceptualized and produced the teams of Kanye and Marley respectively, and just had a bunch of verses by Nas and Jay respectively.

First off outside of a couple joints god's son is :trash:

Second Where do you get this imaginary almost Narnia like idea that Jay-Z only rapper on WTT :wtf:

Kanye produced Otis and that's it, rest of it is outside producers and WTT is still included to me in Jay-Z catalogue as well as Kanyes

BP3 was Jay-Z taking a risk musically when it came to the sound of the tape, he tried to go as far from what everybody was rapping on at the time and the result was pretty good not classic or anywhere close but a solid release showcasing his trademark lyricsm

DR is a whole different conversation all together

Now can u tell me why u feel like doing these anti-GOAT threads all the time? I'm came in here to counter your arguments of Jay not dropping a hot album every ten years, AG disproves the fact, you keep saying "excluding AG" like a fukking nerdy white kid that sits in front of the class and always talks to the teacher :what:

:snoop: look at what these Nas Stan's have to go through to try to prove their mans any got the most L's in rap history:wow:

That's all well and fine but I'm not his kin and I have no stake in to what degree he is "winning" or not.

I am a hip-hop fan and he's 8 months away from having only produced one good album in the past 10 years.
:yeshrug:
Neither do I.
I'm just playing/kidding around.
IMO
WTT was good.
And the man has had several fantastic
features since Bp3.
And even if he doesn't drop an album this year
I don't think he'll drop a dud when he does but
then again that's always a possibility.

That's your opinion...not really interested in it.

I don't even know what you're trying to say here, I guess some of it is a typo, but every song on the album was co-produced by Kanye except for Welcome to the Jungle, Murder to Excellence, and Made In America.

That's what Kanye does. He coordinates with a team of producers at this point in his career, like Dr. Dre was. Musically, conceptually, artistically the album has Kanye's fingerprints all over it.

But that doesn't matter anyway because we're talking solo albums and it's not a solo album, period.

BP3 was Jay-Z taking a risk musically when it came to the sound of the tape, he tried to go as far from what everybody was rapping on at the time and the result was pretty good not classic or anywhere close but a solid release showcasing his trademark lyricsm

He took a risk and that shyt was meh. lol@his trademark lyricism. His lyricism was :flabbynsick: on the whole album. The production saved what little there was to save on that album. Lyrically it was just a megalomaniacal old man using tired wordplay and basic bars bragging about how he's an icon and how he's transcended hip-hop because white high society loves him.

Now can u tell me why u feel like doing these anti-GOAT threads all the time? :what: This doesn't even make any sense. I credited AG as his one hot album in the past 9 years. Are you okay?

:snoop: look at what these Nas Stan's have to go through to try to prove their mans any got the most L's in rap history:wow:
This thread has nothing to do with Nas outside the fact that the title is a play on a Jay line he made about Nas. How you camel stans have this muscle memory-like involuntary reaction to bring up Nas any time Jay is critiqued is downright bizarre.

tired wordplay and basic bars??

"I was gonna kill a couple rappers, but they did it to themselves
I was goin' do it with the flow, but they did it with their sales
I was goin' 9/11 'em, but they didn't need the help
And they did a good job them boys is talented as hell
Cause not only did they brick they put a building up as well
They ran a plane into that building and when that building fell
Ran to the crash site with no masks and inhaled
Toxins deep inside their lungs until both of them was filled
Blew a cloud out like a L into a jar then took a smell
Cause they heard that second hand smoke kills
nikkas thought they was ill found out they was, ILL
And it's like you knew exactly how I wanted you to feel"

"Lights is blinding
Girls need blinders
So they can step out of bounds quick
The side lines is lined with casualties
Who sip the life casually, then gradually become worse
Don’t bite the apple, Eve
Caught up in the in-crowd
Now you're in-style
And in the winter gets cold en vogue with your skin out
The city of sin is a pity on a whim
Good girls gone bad, the city's filled with 'em
Mommy took a bus trip and now she got her bust out
Everybody ride her, just like a bus route
"Hail Mary" to the city, you're a virgin
And Jesus can’t save you, life starts when the church ends
Came here for school, graduated to the high life
Ball players, rap stars, addicted to the limelight
MDMA got you feeling like a champion
The city never sleeps, better slip you a Ambien"

"Yeah, I said it: we are
You can call me Caesar
In a dark Czar
Please follow the leader
So Eric B we are
Microphone fiend, this the return of the God
Peace, God
Ah ah
It ain't no nobody fresher
I'm in Maison
Ah, Martin Margiela
On the table screaming, "fukk the other side, they're jealous!"
We got a banquette full of broads
They got a table full of fellas
Yeah, and they ain't spending no cake
They should throw their hand in cause they ain't got no spades
Yeah, my whole team got dough
So my banquette is looking like millionaires' row"

So these are basic now??

Now I know ur just an irrational Hov hater...none of ur analysis make no sense cuz if u were to rlly sit here and compare the lyrics Jay was spittin on BP3 to the ones he spit on BP1
BP3 Jay is arguably better

Yet ironically ur praising BP1 yet Jay is spitting at a higher level on BP3

nikka shut ya dumass clown ass up :rudy:

Nas is a better rapper and has a better catalog than Jay Z

I love Jay Zs music ... but you have to take him for what he is ... dude makes good music

but when you are arguing that hes a GOAT how can you even begin to defend his biting

Cam's video completely destroyed and legitimacy Jay ever had obviously people knew all these bites already but its really damaging all in once place

and on top of everything making this song :snoop:

Stupidest thread I seen in a while:laff:...how u gon randomly choose the last 10 yrs and then say that's his average:rudy:

Jay came out in 95,dropped 3 classics and a couple arguables from then up until 2005 that's ten years....since 2005 shyts been hectic, hov been busy with business deals and bein a new father:whoa:...but he managed to drop AG:whew:....he got 2-3 yrs to drop another classic, don't sound like that'll be a problem seein as he's on pace right now to drop one with his next album, buckle up and prepare to be amazed nikkas:salute:

Nas on the other hand the math works:manny:dropped Illmatic, took ten yrs to drop Stillmatic, then another 10 to drop LIG:laff: and u Nas stans sit there and take that shyt, steady dikk ridin no matter what bullshyt Nas hand to u....then when he hands u a hot album after 10 yrs u lose ya damn mind and call it a classic:childplease:

I think their consistency is about equal. They've had some classics. Some bad albums. Some good ones. :yeshrug:
