So we all agree Camel is looking at a one hot album every 10 ten year average pace?

anyway, know what the worst part of the "factual takeover" is?

it was written >>>>>>> vol 1 , 2 ,3, and is just worse than reasonable doubt by a hair. yea jay had some ill club tracks in that period but if it was written is :ehh: is a fact then wtf did that make his catalog up to that point

Is there a Hov album better than IWW? I could see RD. not BP. Not AG.

Apart from a couple of tracks, IWW was average. Aint seeing Vol 1 for sh1t.

Vol 1 was nice. But there was a noticeable decline in lyrical quality. Still a great album, but IWW is better by a clear margin.

Street Disciples is not only Nas's worst album but one of the worst albums Ive ever heard. I was revisiting this thrash a couple of weeks ago. I ended up skipping every track 2 minutes in.

So many amazing songs on that album. But then so many duds as well.

Hasn't camel been alternating between classic/near-classic and wack/mediocre solo's since Blueprint? I guess that means the next one will be good.

:pachaha:
Dude mentioned American Gangster which came out in the same decade as The Black Album and Blueprint 1, all of which came out LAST decade.
:comeon:
Jay-Z hasn't released a Solo album in THIS decade.

I think you might need to reread that op breh.

No, *buzzer-sound* :pacspit:
Re-read Victor von Doom's answer to your above post on page 10. You got it ALL wrong, my mane.

tired wordplay and basic bars??

"I was gonna kill a couple rappers, but they did it to themselves
I was goin' do it with the flow, but they did it with their sales
I was goin' 9/11 'em, but they didn't need the help
And they did a good job them boys is talented as hell
Cause not only did they brick they put a building up as well
They ran a plane into that building and when that building fell
Ran to the crash site with no masks and inhaled
Toxins deep inside their lungs until both of them was filled
Blew a cloud out like a L into a jar then took a smell
Cause they heard that second hand smoke kills
nikkas thought they was ill found out they was, ILL
And it's like you knew exactly how I wanted you to feel"

"Lights is blinding
Girls need blinders
So they can step out of bounds quick
The side lines is lined with casualties
Who sip the life casually, then gradually become worse
Don’t bite the apple, Eve
Caught up in the in-crowd
Now you're in-style
And in the winter gets cold en vogue with your skin out
The city of sin is a pity on a whim
Good girls gone bad, the city's filled with 'em
Mommy took a bus trip and now she got her bust out
Everybody ride her, just like a bus route
"Hail Mary" to the city, you're a virgin
And Jesus can’t save you, life starts when the church ends
Came here for school, graduated to the high life
Ball players, rap stars, addicted to the limelight
MDMA got you feeling like a champion
The city never sleeps, better slip you a Ambien"

"Yeah, I said it: we are
You can call me Caesar
In a dark Czar
Please follow the leader
So Eric B we are
Microphone fiend, this the return of the God
Peace, God
Ah ah
It ain't no nobody fresher
I'm in Maison
Ah, Martin Margiela
On the table screaming, "fukk the other side, they're jealous!"
We got a banquette full of broads
They got a table full of fellas
Yeah, and they ain't spending no cake
They should throw their hand in cause they ain't got no spades
Yeah, my whole team got dough
So my banquette is looking like millionaires' row"

So these are basic now??

Now I know ur just an irrational Hov hater...none of ur analysis make no sense cuz if u were to rlly sit here and compare the lyrics Jay was spittin on BP3 to the ones he spit on BP1
BP3 Jay is arguably better

Yet ironically ur praising BP1 yet Jay is spitting at a higher level on BP3

nikka shut ya dumass clown ass up :rudy:

Wait did this guy really quote camel's tired ass struggle verse on Run This Town to supposedly showcase his lyrical ability? :dead:

Nah hardly struggle lyrics

It was a verse full of clever and conspiracy stirring:lolbron: homophones
and good double entendres
Not to mention Jay's flow on it was :ohlawd:
The Eric B references :ohlawd:

nikka Hov gave them 5 percenter bars :umad:

Lol what's clever about it?

"Yeah, my whole team got dough, so my banquette is looking like millionaires' row"

:heh: fukk outta here. Verse is :trash:

Conspiracy references. Ooooh.

:rudy:

Lol@being wowed by double entendres like they're not a basic literary device rappers haven't been using since the 80's.

Most of you semi-literate camel stans thought double entendre was a dessert at Applebee's or a tennis score until camel said it anyway.

Not to mention Jay's flow on it was :ohlawd:
The Eric B references :ohlawd:

Wow...camel name-dropping someone! :merchant:

nikka Hov gave them 5 percenter bars :umad:

Gee, I've never heard a rapper reference 5%ers before.

Look at the type of shyt that impresses camel stans. Lazy, vapid struggle bars about nothing but sucking his own dikk, nursery rhyme level wordplay, and random namedrops. :snoop:

You are probably entertained by playing with a shiny red yo-yo for hours.

:dead: at you bringing up the millionaires row line when nothing i said would assume that was one of the lines I was impresssed by

Unlike ur lover Nas who spits a bunch of obscure metaphors
Jay portrayed an excellent skill of wordplay with the homophones in his rhymes

That line about blackbirds

"And our girls are blackbirds riding with they Dillingers
I get more in depth(Depp)
If you boys really real enough"

:ohlawd: that wordplay

The fact you call this nursery rhyme level makes me laugh because it is this type of style that most rappers like Joey badass, Kdot and the like are influenced by

They dnt do that dum shyt Nas does spitting a bunch of obscure metaphors all over the place
They use homophones and wordplay to wow their audiences

Ofc u can be a Nas stan and downplay the skill and level here but face the facts
Wordplay(homophones and the like) and double/triple entendres are the skills that most of the so called "saviors of hip hop" posses..they not molding themselves after that stupid ass easy to make obscure metaphors that scream "bad writing"

And :dead: at random namedrops
Nah what Game does is random namedrops

The name's he's dropping fit into previous lines and what he's talm bout

Man silly Nas stan :heh:
Its obvious u dnt respect rap in anyway cuz the way u downplay these elements show that
So thats what ur real issue is :smugfavre:
So silly Nas stan I bid u adieu:win:

I'd go so far as to say that "I'm Gay" by Lil' B has been better musically than anything Jay has released since 2007 :skip:

So many knots in those tiny jeans :wow: :jawalrus:
