man wayne has dominated/been relevant in like 3 different rap generations

When Cash Money first started nobody was listening to WOBBEDLY WOBBEDLY Lil Wayne like that. He sold some records b/c he was on Cash Money and they were hot. BG was going gold (I think platinum once) and even Turk pushed units.

Until Carter 1 (maybe even Carter 2) Wayne was spitting LULZ raps and he even said it himself.

'I am better than I ever been that other shyt is weak' - That's from Motivation on the Dedication 1 mixtape. Even he knows that he was putting out questionable music before that.

C'mon dude I like Wayne but he isn't comparable to BIG. I'm saying that knowing full well that BIG's impact get's magnified b/c he is dead.

Why would someone compare Biggie and Wayne? Wayne is Biggie's son. Biggie taught Jay-Z, who taught Weezy. So, grandson actually. Biggie gave them a style. There would be no Wayne without Biggie. Biggie is a pioneer. PLUS Wayne could never tell a story as masterful lBiggie did. Years later, around 2004/05 Wayne found his own style, which is a great one when he is inspired, but a mess when he overdosed his daily drugs. Biggie was cool, calm and controlled. He would write (in his head) intricate stories and boasts and punchlines. He took his time with it. They are two completely different rappers.

Wayne has surpassed biggie in what way?? You might enjoy Lil' Wayne more but are you sitting here saying lil wayne is better lyrically, pretty much all the technical aspects. plus flow & delivery? musically it's subjective

I have all of those. He started coming into his own on C2 and C3 is better but its not classic. Dedication 2 was solid and Da Drought 3 was his best mixtape IMO but I can't give it classic status. I think I may have straight up deleted no ceilings from my hard drive .

I like Weezy but he doesn't have any classics in his collection . He has some good stuff no doubt
