you realize apes in african have pink skin right? at one point we split from said apes, which means we did in fact have pink skin.

and no its not a mystery on how we lost our hair, the theory is that once upright we became long distance runners, this created the sweat gland, fur dropped off shortly after.

A scientific website used the word mystery... that's were i even got the word Mystery from. :stopitslime:

You don't understand what a theory is.

and i know what skin color modern apes have.

Aren't we speaking on Modern humans, what skin color have they had?

We can focus on species of apes , but i thought we were speaking specifically on humans.

and polar bears.. have hair.. yet they have black skin. Shouldn't they have pink skin?? Group thinkers like you tried to say it was because the hairs transfered the uv light to the skin, but recent studies proved that the skin of a polar bear absorbs Very little UV light.

And why Do Gorillas have darker skin? Or does that not count as an AFrican APE ??

Some orangutans have black skin.. others have dark skin... they share with us like 97% dna... they even have 32 teeth like us... but I guess according to you they are pink.. IT's called the human of the forest:stopitslime:

the theory however is based on the appearance of apes and lice. we are able to get a rough idea when we lost our hair and got sweat glands because the lice on humans are different than the lice on apes. theres a split in their evolution at about the same time lucy was found....
True, but, that theory still doesnt hold true for black people, at least those with hair like us because if it were true why would our hair be so different from straight haired animals? Our hair has the ability to keep bugs out much better then straight hair, so who is this theory speaking of?

Aren't you Mexican?

Can't you just feel proud about Mexico shyt... there is much history there.

We don't have to feel pride about everything that has ever happened in history , because the entire earth was black until a few thousand years ago.
That's not really the point now is it. I feel proud about the shyt I DO, less so about the shyt my ancestors have done.

I do understand the importance of pride though (obviously check the name) I'd just rather see that shyt tied to something a little more tangible and recent.

IMHO it would make more sense to me for an AA to be prideful about the accomplishments of the civil rights movement, or fuk even a rapper making it vs some shyt that happened 5k years ago. If you find yourself relating to a civilization that damn old you're doing something wrong.

When discussing events during the wide span of history that means little, this is why time periods are separated and classified accordingly. Again, the things you are bragging about were being developed independently by different peoples in different parts of the world, only the intellectually bereft and agenda fueled pseudo-scholars push the the kind of crap you are trying to push here, and unfortunately they operate in all varieties. If anything China deserves major props for developing so many things completely on their own with little to no outside influence.

Besides, you can't even say for sure if you are a Nile Valley descendant, so what are we even talking about?
I agree with this as far as man developing some of the same tools around the same time. This unseen knowledge helps prove the theory of a unified consciousness in Humans. I believe it, from experience.

well, i'm not an afrocentrist..... :yeshrug:

I'm pro black... amerikkan, so i don't really be on that... egypt built this.. this culture did that shyt.... unless it pertains to a topic.

However, keep in mind that ........ white people and others have attempted to steal history..... they attempted the steal most of what 'black' people are 'NOT' supposed to feel proud about.

If black people are wrong for feeling proud about it........................................ then why was it so important for others to attempt to rewrite history and go as far as to destroy structures to keep up these lies??:usure:

Thats really why as a black man, I like learning about history. I want to see both sides of a story, and then figure out the truth myself. The way things are taught now, you can see the story of Humans is kind of twisted, and has an agenda behind it. its just that its done in a subtle way, and if you dont stay aware of this, you will believe some bullshyt, and repeat it as truth, while laughing at others who might be right. You see this consistently throughout the science world, yet people still repeat the ignorance they are taught just because it comes from those in "authority".

the apes with black skin such as the ugandan silver back are short haired fyi.

we use apes to measure because at one point we had a common ancestor. apes, pretty much all, have pink skin, our skin changed, its easier to use apes because they havent changed much.

@lotty -- actually we come from east africans, horners, and they dont have coarse hair. its curly and woolly. west african hair came about as we traveled through the thick rain forests.

And how can you prove this?

To me, it would be inefficient to go from dense to loose hair in a hot environment. That goes totally against how the body works. Dense hair is a very efficient system, while providing protection to the skull in various ways. It makes no sense to have a human with straight hair, all of a sudden develop dense, coarse hair, when that would have happened in the first place because its so efficient.

Going from dense to loose hair, in a hot, and sunny, environment is going backwards.

I understand this completely but IMHO it might take a week of really looking into history to realize white people are on some shyt, therefore again IMHO spending any more time than a week actually learning who built what is energy that could have been spent getting a kid to relate to the accomplishments of his more immediate people.

The points I made early on in the thread still stand. We're all technically African. :manny:

@Brown_Pride I agree with everything except, spending more then a week is a waste of energy, because, that time learning about history prepares you for the futufe because you know what has been done, how its been done, and how it can be improved. The thing is when you spend most of your time learning history, you are wasting energy to create your life, and bringing in the new. History should be learned in pieces. Weekly or monthly, and the rest of your energy should be about the present, and the future.

exactly! which is why we went from somali style hair to west african hair when we went from east africa to west. you proved my point

You're not understanding me, its going backwards genetically to start off with straight hair or loose hair, then it turn dense again. That doesn't follow the law of nature in Conservation. It would make sense if it went from dense to loose because barely any energy is losed for this to happen. But, going from straight to kinky, will require some type of mutation which is not efficient for the DNA, and may not mutate into kinky hair exactly. It may turn a different color, which is important as well because light colored hair will reflect light, and that requires more energy being used by the body to keep the brain cool. Dark color absorb infrared rays which provide heat to the scalp, and this forces sweating, and that cools the scalp down keeping the brain cooled, and running efficiently. With kinky wooley hair, most of this moisture is trapped resulting in a much cooler environment for the scalp then loose hair would, even if it were curls.

This is why the theory you gave makes no sense to me! It just sounds like something made up to back the ape theory, and saying whites were the first man, which is said in subtle, trickery ways. No disrespect to you, though, just explaining why I don't agree with the theory. Peace.

@BrownPride you should be ashamed of yourself for that 2nd comment in this thread. You are smarter than that. :stopitslime:
