Gotta trade him. You know at this point know eay Westbrook stays you can't lost 2 top 10 players for nothing that would destroy them and I think Presti knows it

Westbrook to spurs would be interesting. Not sure how it happens but I'd love to see it.

I think alot posters are being too reactionary, Sam Presti is easily top 5 gm in the league. I think Westbrook will stay with OKC granted Presti's GM moves this summer.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Presti package Oladipo & Kanter for a legitimate second option such as Okafor or Cousins to pair with Adams.

You be saying some wild shyt breh :laff:

you only think that cause you're a casual basketball fan.

When I said there is no way hell that Golden State wins a championship this year, I bet you probably thought I was saying some wild shyt too. I bet you thought I was saying wild stuff when I said the lakers got much much worse by sigining dwight and steve nash. Casuals man smh

The thunder lost Durant, but also picked up oladipo and you think they need to blow their team up smh. Right now they are STILL one of the best teams in the west. Add in a a player like Dirk, and they are clearly arguably the best team in the west, with only a healthy clippers team and san antonio to compete with them.

Thunder need to push a Russ trade asap before the season starts to insure they get good draft position

Just sell to best package before training camp and start over
what team is going to give them a package knowing they have to sell, so you buy low.

The bucks have the pieces to trade but he won't resign there.

Very risky. You can't have Harden, Durant and Westbrook all leave and only be left with Adams to show for it. You've got to take Westbrook's temperature and if you aren't 100% sure he's gonna reup, you move him for the best possible return(hell, I would move him no matter what).

Trade Westbrook and Tank (I heard this draft is going to be deep)

Try to get the next Durant, Westbrook, Harden trio and don't fukk it up this time around
Those guys are not available all the time though.. Presti was in lottery and picked the right guys KD, Westbrook and Harden but those guys arent' available in every draft..

Presti has his work cut out for him..

You have to be in the lottery but you have to be in position to grab the right guy..

Contrary to alot posters, I actually think Presti got decent to good return on Harden compared to superstars or all stars that have been traded in the past 40 years, as a GM with cheap ownership. I personally would trade Westbrook as well but only because I don't think his game will age graciously, he only goes as far as his athleticism. I trust Presti going forward, I think Oklahoma city is decent consistent 15-20 ppg scorer(preferably big man to play off Westbrook & Oladipo) from being in the top 4 in the west.....

I mean what you said was ridiculous, but I'm talking about everywhere on this site, you say some outlandish...stupid shyt, it's a trend homie.

:yeshrug:

And I'm not saying blow the team up because they couldn't be a good team as is, I'm saying blow it up because Russ likely isn't going to stay. If they can get him committed long term then I say develop sabonis, show off how competitive they are this season without Durc*nt and then try and grab somebody from FA.

But that all depends on if Russ re-ups RIGHT NOW. If he doesn't...you gotta blow it up before the inevitable heartbreak hits you twice.

Russ can't sign a LTE now(well, he could, but it would be one of the sillier decisions of all time because the cap is projected to jump again next offseason).

Presti's stuck between a rock and a hard place here.

They should trade him now. I don't think he is going to stay. The info coming out indicates that he had no intention of extending again. I think KD knew this and that's why he still did the free agency tour even after Presti those tried to talk him out of it when they first met at the arena. KD nor Russ were willing to give Horford a verbal long term commitment and that is why he went to Boston without any second thoughts. Presti need to contact the Lakers and see what he can get. Russ and his wife are from LA and prefer to be there. Russ also sold his townhouse/condo in LA and bought a house December 2015. They said his wife likes OKC, but would rather be in LA. Presti need to make a move. The clippers are not an option because of CP3 and the fact that he is a free agent next summer. Can't afford to have him walk for free like KD. Free agents are not coming to OKC. Russ and KD been recruiting, but players always said they didn't want to live there. The owner also has a reputation for being cheap.
