I see the shattered remnants of #Trumpset on here getting triggered about the "SJWs" and "cultural Marxism", but I'd love an explanation on exactly why equality and justice for the oppressed and marginalized is a bad idea.

The term SJW has been b*stardized and warped and is used to label anyone on the far left, just the way the label alt-right or fascist has done the same to their polar opposites.


Anyone that is TRULY against Justice and equality are sheltered a$$holes that add nothing to society and only seek to benefit themselves and the few they associate with.

but here is the kicker, Social Justice in 2017 is NOT about real justice and equality. It's about tearing down the group that they consider is on top just so they can feel a sense of revenge for the ills that their particular group feels is thrust upon them by this "top" group.

I am 100% for equal opportunity for all. I am 100% for REAL justice, and that includes justice against racist cops and scumbag politicians (regardless of race).

I also acknowledge that certain groups have historically been shyt on and unfairly treated. And that America owes a debt to these people by providing certain provisions and some type of reparations mostly by way of free education/training and community building, etc.

I am also vehemently against people that can't acknowledge that certain ppl have been unfairly treated and that certain people certainly have a leg up over others thanks to these same setbacks that have set other groups behind.

But, what I don't agree with is this socialist policy that everyone deserves to have equal outcome. That regardless of effort or personal motivation that everyone deserves to have the same outcome. No one deserves a great job, no one is entitled to anything that puts them above anyone else based only on their group membership. THAT isn't equality.

Attacking one group of people based on their social standing in society will NOT bring equality. What real social justice is, is NOT fighting to bring one group down to the same level as everyone else, but fighting to bring everyone else UP. fighting for education in the minority neighbourhoods and communities, fighting for equal treatment in the courts, fighting for equal treatment by police, I am 100 % behind these fights.

You honestly need to get out more if this is what you truly see. And I'm not even trying to be a dikk about this.

This type of mentality has taken over many universities and public protests across the country.
This seems to be the thinking among younger people and those with this pro socialist mentality.

It's mostly white dudes who fail to understand a world with multiple perspectives, they are the ones who would say why is there a BET or Miss Black America. They think we live in a color blind society and can dictate how minorities should bring up their issues, a lot of them are the libertarian types who do not want to carry the label of WS but find ways to echo their thoughts in different ways. Notice that they will always preface their statement with "of course i believe in equality" as if it's something that bears mentioning. When issues of police brutality come up there are the type that rush in with stats purporting to show how whites are shot by police too as if police brutality only encompasses shooting incidents. The DOJ reports show the extent of bias in policing and many other transgressions that do not involve shootings. The stuff they complain about on campuses are things that people just ignore and go on with their lives.

Anyone opposed to social justice warriors are pretty much inherently racist, bigot, sexists that care about their ability to sh1t on people and say sh1t that might hurt someone's feelings. They hate PC culture because they want to freely be able to say and do things with no regard for other people's feelings or viewpoints, and can't understand why they might be questioned. They bring up things like "50 years ago, it was a lot worse" or "democrats actually started the kkk" or all sorts of other fals equivalencies to hammer home their "right" to generationally instill that bullsh1t to their kids, just like their parents and grandparents did to them. I am so proud of my 16 yr old daughter, she lives in a lily white suburb, with little exposure to cultural differences, and she still is so much more accepting and inclusionary than she should be, just because of her surroundings. Though my wife and I have been pretty outspoken on behalf of people being treated unfairly, the environment she goes to school in and the huge divide the country is going through, does not sway her sense of caring. Hope is not lost
