Now that the offseason is over and we've had time to praise Kyrie and Bron and ridicule Steph and the Warriors, what are your expectations for Steph Curry and the Warriors going into this season?

Last year, he averaged - 30.1 ppg----- 6.7 apg----5.4 rpg----2.1 spg---- .504 fg %----.454 3p % - in the regular season.

In last years playoffs, he averaged - 25.1 ppg---- 5.2 apg----5.5 rpg----1.4 spg----.438 fg %----.404 3p %.

Do you think he'll come back with vengeance and average 30 again or even more with KD on the squad, or will he take a back seat to KD and average somewhere in the low to mid 20's? Will he even get over 20 ppg?

I think its a unanimous vote that the Dubs will reach the NBA finals again for the 3rd year in a row. I think Steph will put up 22 ppg ---- 3 rpg ---- and a career high in assist 8.9 apg in the regular season.

Your thoughts?

Same as last year. The favorite with one possible team to challenge them in the West (subject to trades). :yeshrug:

Best record in the league and championship are the expectations. Injuries, the Cavs fleecing a team for Kevin Love are what can get in the way of that

Durant directly addresses two of their weaknesses (getting to the free throw line, isolation scoring) while improving the defense of their death lineup dramatically. He is a top ten perimeter defender in this league. He can have a shytty shooting performance (WCF) and still be a nightmare because of his wacky waiving inflatable arm flailing tubeman defense.

I expect Curry to again have a historically productive year, probably have the 3rd 70 TS% in NBA history, and then play the best he ever has in the postseason. It's time for him to put together a wire to wire dominant playoff run as it's the only thing missing from his prime, save for longevity.

Green is Green, be the best defender in the league while not getting credit for it and being hated for the same things people ride Dennis Rodman for. So many people saying the Warriors have no rim protection is exactly why Green can't win DPOY, they don't know why he's a great player.

I never know what to make of Thompson. You'd hope he shoots around 45% from deep and doesn't say anything crazy.

Zaza is a great role player on both ends of the floor who will help them in a lot of ways that won't be appreciated. More reliable than Bogut who is never likely to make it through a season not on the IR

If Speights was smart, you get David West. One of the great lockeroom guys in this league who will lay people out that fukk with Curry and tone down the team's complacency issues. The Udonis Haslem they didn't have

I like McCaw and think he's going to be a contributor from day 1, Livingston is still great, Iguodala will get snubbed for 6MOY and defensive teams again, not sure what to expect about the other guys. They'll need consistency from Clark, the rookies, McGee....their RS record should be worse than last year because of the uncertainty there, but in the playoffs where rotations are shortened it will be a non issue.

62-20

They'll be good but you'll need real playing time with this team before everybody gets acclimated
