SO. fukkING. WHAT?

This extra nonsense doesn't even make sense. He plays better football than any fukker on the the Jets now that's "willing to just play football."

You can go ahead and have "just one of the guys" if you want to. The Jets have plenty of them. They just happen to suck at football compared to the guy you're already mentally trying to find a good reason to be cool with letting him go.

Because he's a corner back. Im not interested in his reality show with his loser friends and neither are the Jets.

DOnt like your contract? Take a walk. Unless you can throw the football....yeah, see ya later

But why would you want to keep him? Because you know he's still gonna demand it and play the "I was coming off an injury year" type of deal.

You should know by now Revis is going to try and get the most money possible no matter how he plays.

Toe me you keep him you're hanging onto the past ,you got so many holes get something for him while you can. You gonna be willing to pay that $80m this time next year for him?

Because on one leg he's still the best player we have.

Who cares? If all it took was a reality show and an aspiring rap career to be as good as Revis is tell Fez to get in the fukking booth.

I can't make this any clearer: dealing Revis doesn't mean you'll get the QB you want and dealing Revis doesn't get much closer if at all to this mythical QB and you damn sure ain't getting it this year.

You want a franchise QB? Stick with the one you have. He's your best bet towards getting one. Everything else is some shyt the Jets need to do anyway with or without Revis.

So cling to that one player who plays a position of limited significance.

I understand your connection with the guy, but think logically.

He is your best player, coming off a huge injury, playing a position of limited impact on his last year of his contract with money issues.

Like I said, he's more of an issue than an asset.

This new GM noticing that makes me think he knows what he's doing

I mean put yourself in the Jets shoes. What type of player would have value to the Jets?

Youre not getting a big time QB for Revis. Jets need picks more than anything. Everything can be addressed through the draft.

You trust this team to draft ?

The whole point here is Revis is going to want another huge deal from a team no where near a Super Bowl. What's the point of locking him up?

First round picks dont carry they burden they once did. If you can get two of those for a guy who wont be here long term its a no brainer. Especially for a guy that doesnt put points on the board.

Our best player plays a non premium position. If I were the Jets Id look to shop Mangold too.

so why stop there? Deal everyone and watch how Football Jesus still doesn't show up at your door.

I don't think you're getting it. You can deal everyone worth their salt now if you want. Mark Sanchez will still be your starting QB next year. I can deal with that and I hate him more than anybody. This isn't gonna get fixed overnight, so why pretend like there's a way to fix it overnight?

The GM wasn't the one who noticed this. It was our retard owner.

The only reason Sanchez is here next year is because of the dumb extension they gave him. No different than Arod playing 3rd base.

Having one guy locked into a bad contract doesnt mean the team cant look towards the future.

If they can work out a cap friendly deal with Revis Im all for it...he's a beast...but history shows he isnt exactly flexible(which is fine, he owes the Jets nothing) but I cant blame the Jets for looking to acquire picks for a guy that always see's the grass as greener.

QB is a need though AND QB is the hardest position to draft for so if I was the Jets brain trust I'd trade him for a decent proven QB and a conditional 2nd/3rd. Idzik doesn't strike me as stupid enough to trade Brady Quinn for Revis, but I think it'd be reasonable for him to consider Smith, Flynn, or Cousins.

Also, I think he should offer Revis for Romo or Rivers because I bet Jerrah would consider it and so would the Chargers new GM.

If that's gonna be your thought process forever why even draft then? Trade all your picks away.

Part of why they're in this mess is because they DID trade all the picks away and botched the few they had.

Like I said, I can't be confident in the team's ability to draft well until they draft well. Keep Revis, have Idzik actually show what he can do. Otherwise, why deal Revis only to have those picks used on Rex's new Fullback and DT or DE that can't rush the passer?

In the back of my mind this is gonna end up like Charles Woodson to Green Bay.
