Why do they HAVE to do something? titanfall is on three platforms.
What you think this means people are going to sell their ps4's for a Xbox one or to build a gaming pc or cop maybe a 360 again? you see people going out of their way to buy Xbox one because it has killer instinct? there's no indication that titan fall will have any adverse affect on existing ps4 gamers. Y'all are over hyping that game man. outside the internet I've heard no one talking about it. Titanfall is not going to shake up nothing and this is from someone who plans on getting it day 1. It's not going to be a killer app. halo is, uncharted is, gears is, gta, God of war, etc. Titanfall? nah.
what if titan fall drops and is rated 66% by meteoritic and gets a 72% from IGN? what happens if it's just a solid to good game but not a great one?

If that happens then they'll have to rely on heavy marketing with references to Call of Duty by saying things like "From the makers of Modern Warfare..." , "Creators of Call of Duty.." and shyt. It'll probably sell based off of that but then again when it comes to actual quality it may or may not be as great as it sells. Halo 4 sold a shyt ton yet who still plays that? Look on their forums and you'll see a mountain of threads created by fans yearning for something better.
I hope I'm proven wrong and the game rocks though. I just want to play a beta of it. I want something different from the miltary shooters that's saturated the gaming scene lately. That seems to be why I like non military shooters more than some of the most popular shooters such as BF and Cod.
I'd love for Destiny and Titanfall to be amazing.
ALso notice how Xbots aren't really hyping up Destiny despite it looking just as good as Titanfall?? Because it's coming out on PS4 too. Destiny has resemblances to Halo, a premier Xbox title and these cats are nowhere to be found hyping it up. Let Destiny had been a Xbox 1, 360 exclusive and you'd see the same engineered hype for it.
Same thing could be said about Dead Rising 3.half of those killzone sales are bundles. Game bundled with launch hardware always sell more than usual. That's why they put killzone out when they did. Otherwise it would have probably sold less than the last one.

Infamous: Second Son, Driveclub, MLB The Show 14 and Planetside 2 is a very good line up of games for early 2014.

I don't want to throw shade but some of the hype for this game feels manufactured...I'm sure it will be a good/great game because of the developer but gaming media its hyping this up as a world killer game changer like Call Of Duty 4 was but I doubt that is going to be the case. It will do well for itself though.

It kinda does but everyone that plays it likes it. Remember they have been letting the public play it at some shows.
This a stupid argument. it's a an basically a MS exclusive Win, 360 and X1 is all Microsoft. The point is its not coming to Playstation. Most don't have a gaming computer. So most of its sales will be X1 and 360.

The game has been available to play at all the game shows and conventions. It gets nothing but praise. It not like its being hidden from the public or anything.

I want an actual true to life type of military shooter where you play as a division and you start out as a young private inside a platoon as you progress you become a team leader/squad leader/platoon sgt/first sergeant/SGM or you can become an officer and progress from 2LT to major general....and it would be a difference between which path you choose the officer request and plans and the enlisted executes....when your the divison commander you can send special forces, aircraft, division artillery all that fly shyt to support the warfighter....you'll also have a security detachment charged with protecting you...so if you go out trying to get yourself killed and you do then the next senior person takes your rank and you'll start over.
It would be strategy rts type of game...but anyway that's why I like bf4 but I want something with realism.
Well it supposed to have cloud based A.I so it should be good. To me thats the game changer to me. If it works it will be godly!
