i'm doing no such thing and yes the majority of games nowadays have some type of mp to help with replayability/increase purchase appeal, but that doesnt make it the focus of the game...the focus of games like gears and halo is the mp, that's why the majority buy those games...that's how they're marketed, talked about, and judged....just like the focus of games like uncharted and last of us is the sp, that's why people buy those games...that's how they are marketed, talked about, and judged....now, does that mean sp focused games should only have a sp or mp focused games should have only mp? no, but to act like you cant tell what the focus is of a game is being naive...take the game this thread is about for example, titanfall: people arent waiting for it to come out for the sp part of the game, they waiting for the mp aspects of...
to take i further: mp is how ms got it's foot into the gaming community to begin with period...yea, sony had mp on some games, but that wasnt their focus and it showed...so ms saw an opportunity and took advantage of it: making mp easier on consoles, hence halo...which is cool...
