TI may not have been the originator but he is the one that brought it to the mainstream along with Jeezy. That can't be denied. But Cool Breeze and some of that No Limit music could be considered trap music too. But TI and Jeezy made it popular and helped birth a movement.

Geto Boys had some of the first set of horrorcore raps too. (Correct me if I'm wrong).

As for the trap "sound" in think that 3 6 mafia sorta helped pioneer that sound in a sense.

who said something about moving units and being relevant, we talking bout who helped start the trap music. The trap is some atlanta shyt and im giving you the people who pioneered it. Most local legends arent relevant now and hell no limit aint relevant either now
