19-9 since trading Rudy. That's a 55-win pace. The team record is 47 wins in a season. They could break that this season.
Derozan/Ross/valanciunas/Lowry were all acquired in the last 5 years using draft assets. The other year we took ed Davis who along w Calderon has been turned into greivis/Patterson/Hayes. Expect this team to try to trade into the top of the draft on draft day. We've got the assets to make teams consider it.
Novak and fields make a combined 10mil a year and expire after next season.
The only issue is Lowry. If he isn't traded then we have to re-sign him. I think Masai would rather flip him for more assets to trade into the top of the draft than pay to keep him. But if he doesn't get a good haul I think we'll pay what he wants to keep him.

This is why I wouldn't be worried if I was a Raptors fan. He hasn't even been in Toronto for a year and has already turned water to wine TWICE with the Bargnani and Gay trades. If anyone's gonna figure out how to build this team up, it's Masai.in Masai we trust breh.
his draft record (all late first round picks and 2nd rounders) is impeccable and he picked up guys like Brewer and Koufus from the scrapheap, key rotation players on a 57 win team.
the Nigerian Prince damn near traded Nene for Demarcus Cousins. we probably could have got it done if we threw in an extra asset.

Val and Ross got nice potential. Demar is still improving, but he can be traded for the right deal. 2016 Knicks/Denver pick might come in handy.

I dont take some of these fakkits seriously cuz they dont know shyt....TankWars was fine back in Nov when this team looked shytty and played shytty we had a good reason to consider the tank,after the trade they have been one of thes best teams in the league,they have a legit second unit and have been one of the best defensive teams in that time period..Sometimes you change course thats how it is in pro sports...Its nice for the usual suspects to say things like fukkn up there future for short term gains but those posters dont consider the entire situation here....and that is this team is winning is building back a fan base and tv viewership,selling out games again every night and creating a buzz in this city...You cant simply toss ur best players to the side at this point after youve let em go 19-9 and put themselves in 3rd....Masai tried to tank thinking the trade would do that but it made the team decent and now hes changing his course and playing for the off season now and thats the only thing he can do....
