This 100%. I would love to go back to the free flowing atmosphere of the 90's, but the way we dog these guys out is insane. We keep them under a microscope.

Not to mention that people view things a lot differently as young children/teenagers, versus being a cynical adult of today. Of course players seemed "larger" than life as a kid.

Style and fashion are all in the eyes of the beholder. I'm sure some people would laugh at the dudes you say are the real fashionistas too.

No hate. I think a lot of those pics are goofy and flamboyant too, but I also think people should dress how they want to dress and express themselves as they see fit. I don't think anything is "real fashion" or "real stylish". Just a bunch of a different styles that different people gravitate towards.
