George Bush started wars to be like his daddy and broke the economy completely....but I'm questioned as to why I voted for Obama?
The unemployment rate isn't at 1.0% and all black folks haven't been freed from prison. Plus he didn't end racism and put all racist cops on death row. Of course he is a bad president.

So it's fine for people to stop supporting him after knowing they put him in a bad spot?

How is he in a bad spot?

Eh......Obama actually hasn't been that bad. He actually has done better than Reagan did with the economy.

Unemployment is down

Economy is picking up

Veterans have all types of crazy benefits now

War in Iraq is done for the most part

Deficit is down

Bin Laden is dead...

D1sellout. It's bigger than Obama. He doesn't have complete power. America isn't a monarchy. Things have to go through the house/congress. They have the power to veto and shoot down anything he proposes. For things to run smoothly, it's best that congress/house is the same party...or majority of the same party

I'm asking why vote for somebody if you think they won't accomplish anything.

Talking all about how good it will be for black people in this country. But in two years what can you say he did for us other than get in the White House?

It's nice he's there, but this is still America. If it's bad for the average white person it's bad for everybody.

If you voted for him and never said "I didn't expect much" my beef ain't with you.

Black people aren't wanted or desired by mainstream society and aren't even really citizens....

Our vote is something that barely affects the statues quo..

However, Why do you frame the shyt " What did he do for us?"

You can't say........... how/why did you nikkas vote for him....... but then imply that Obama Should have some black agenda - and we were foolish to vote for him..

Most people in general vote based on talking points , party Line , and Personality. Of course just like anything, When black people do something that all people do in Mass - They are ignorant and wrong for it.

I was aware of shyt back then,,, but only a small % of any ethic, religious, or racial group will EVER be deep into national politics. Local politics affect us the Most anyway.

When you're on the bottom of the social economic scale - national shyt only affects you in small ways.

If you want to ask questions - then ask about local politics - SUCH as why a black Ferguson population elected KKK members to local government.

:mjlol: You calling me a non-black..
.
I'll let that go since i've never seen you on here before and you probably have never seen any of my posts...

But where were you and how old were you in 2008?

Obama had almost 100% AA support back then and many of them thought Obama would change the country for us.

Also in 2012 Jaime Foxx even said the words "lord and savior" when mentioning Obama.. :denzelllmao:

Bruh between your screen name and your comments thats what I took you for...If I am wrong then my mistake.

And dude I was never caught up in the hype. I even took my pops and my uncle to DC to go see the inauguration. Froze my nuts off because I basically had to camp out along the parade route the night before because I wanted a good spot. Stood on Pennsylvania in front of the Treasury Dept. with tears in my eyes when him and Michelle walked by. And you know what? Even then I wasn't buying the hype. My reason for being happy and proud was not because I thought Obama would change shyt, I knew then as I know now that he is just a puppet for the people who really pull the strings. I was happy and proud because my own views aside, I knew that seeing him as POTUS would give these young Black kids something to be proud of and would give them the real HOPE to be able to strive to be something in life. When the most successful nikka in your hood is the dope man that means alot for the young kids to be able to see someone that looks like them on TV and in the news who has reached that level. I don't buy into all the political BS. I just don't think Obama is as bad as people try to make him seem. And me being neither a Dem or a Repub I think I am in a good position to judge that, cuz outside of Obama being Black, I really don't have a dog in the fight because I think that they are all crooks at the end of the day.

Exactly. And those Cacs love to use ol' grandpa ass Reagan in their arguments and put him on a pedestal, but Obama has out preformed him in damn near every thing when it comes to the economy. On top of the fact that the country was hella close to going down the tubes at the end of Bush's term. I don't think folks realize how close to disaster we were. The same way folks look back at the generation that lived the the depression era 30's is the same way people in the future will look at our generation. shyt was really close to hitting the fan, actually it did in some ways.
