In my opinion, yes lol.

I didn't... And again I'm black. I also like using logic when I make decisions, voting for Obama just because he was black isn't even close to logical. Ultimately he had the better campaigns than anyone close to winning and Mcain/Palin/Romney wasn't a good look at all. So he won by default to me but why would I vote for him just because he was black if I thought he was going to be incompetent. Why would I want to set up the first black president like that?

Luckily, he isn't incompetent to me

I never said Obama was a bad president or that you shouldn't have voted for him.

He's not who my beef is with.

It's with the people who voted for him but are now saying "I never expected much". If you vote for somebody you don't expect much from you're not helping anything

One candidate is almost as good as another, things won't change drastically at all.

However it was nice to see a black man in the oval office and a democrat at that.

That was my whole point. We have a chance to help make history and see a black man of all people become president. I really question somebodys loyalty to the race if they voted otherwise. Not like it was Al Shaprton. None of these a$$holes give a fukk about us anyway so Im voting for the black dude every time

Meh, obama hasn't been THAT bad.

The majority of People who talk shyt about Obama do it b/c he's black, Obamacare, he "hasn't done anything for black people", or they just want to feel like a revolutionary :heh:.

then you got people who genuinely don't agree with his stance on issues.(EX Fiscal Conservatives)

Well if they didn't expect much then so what. Obama has done more than Bush ever did. Bish damn near sent us back into the Great Depression and Obama has damn near pulled us out. If you're complaining then I'm sure you're pretty much just a lazy ass nikka that was expecting handouts or some type of immediate revolution:manny:

Like Obama was gonna get in office, start cussing nikkas out and throwing money only to inner schools (and I think he has even done something like that along the lines of education/debt/scholarships... But I don't remember)

His effect on the country and for the IMAGE of black Americans has been slow and gradual but I think he's done a good job considering the bullshyt he walked into. Change actually did come but that crab in the barrel mentality that black Americans are notorious for isn't helping shyt.

And that's another thing. nikkas so worried about "loyalty" to a race when they don't even help the next black dude around they way. All I said was if you ONLY voted because he was black then you're an idiot. I guess you wouldve voted for Herman Cain too then... He was black and much much darker...:patrice:

I didn't just want to see a black president in office, I wanted to see the RIGHT black president in office. Obama seemed like he fit the description.

am not american, so i'll post this and leave!!!
look how happy you all were back in '08/9!!!

Fast forward to 2014 when we're getting gunned down by police officers and having the army, navy, marines, and national guard called on us for protesting injustice...

Obama hoodwinked us.

He claimed he was about hope...and change.

Our hopes died.

Things changed for the worse...

Obama's America y'all...:wow:

Fact is, the shyt Bush left us with, no president was going to come out a winner next term. So they figured lets make Obama take this hit. I don't care who came after Bush Jr. it was a lose lose situation.

Any black person who thought having a black person would effect them differently then having a white president was wishful thinking. If anything that "Change" he kept mentioning was a change for the worse.

The people who voted for Obama but are saying they didn't expect him to do much.

You don't see any problem? :dwillhuh:
Most people say they bought into his speeches so how do you throw a blanket on the majority of his voters by catering to a couple posts you read on facebook.

Shouldnt you be talking to them?

When I see or hear a white, Asian, or Mexican say "I never actually expected him to do anything but I still voted for him" my thoughts gonna change.
