The league(the other 29 owners) owned the hornets if the traded CP3 to the Lakers they would have had to give the Lakers 21 million dollars too. Basically they would've had to pay the championship caliber Lakers to have an all star point guard.

What owner in his right mind especially in the western conference is going to be okay with paying to make the Lakers a better team? Let that shyt go laker fans. Mitch finessed gasol for a Dave and busters gift card and a bum. You think those other owners were letting that happen again if they could stop it?
