:dahell: Even in hindsight, you still think the Pelicans got the best deal

You're an idiot with an anti-lakers agenda

Let's see what you lakergirls have posted so far.

1. OP can't understand how the NBA could veto the CP3 to Lakers trade - LWO doesn't understand the team was OWNED BY THE LEAGUE.

2. OP can't understand how the NBA allowed GS to sign KD - LWO doesn't understand the difference between a trade and a free agency signing.

3. LWO insist that "in hindsight" the cp3 to laker trade was better - LWO doesn't seem to understand the NBA was trying to maximize the value of the franchise at that moment.

Can you admit you and the rest of LWO are retards? Read my signature for more proof :jjjjj:

No bro, the NBA literally bought the Hornets from the previous owner and was in transition to selling it

Stern thought the value of the franchise would plummet without CP3

It was bullshyt but it's not confusing

Stern saw the trade as lopsided. The Hornets got a better deal from the Clippers. Looks like quality ownership to me.

There wasn't a lottery in 1984 breh.
Kobe stans and their lack of any basketball knowledge :dead:

They would have had more success, including playoff success, with the Lakers package. Is that not what the league is meant to be about? Actual success?

What they got was an awful deal and it's turned out as such. If the draft was rigged for them to get Davis that would have gone down as one of the worst deals ever.
That team had a ceiling of a 6-8 seed. They would have ended up matched up with the thunder or the Spurs in the first round of the 2012 playoffs if they made it. You want to try to argue that they would have beaten one of them?

What should us casuals look for when determining that the Durant signing was horrible? Team record? Point Differential? Net Rating? Championship?
This fool ain't gonna last until the ballot if he keeps it up with this cut and paste act for that same garbage talking point in every thread. Hey @SuaveHooper88 what do you say to a permanent ban bet if the Warriors finish with under or over 60 wins?

NBA owned the Hornets at the time, and had final say on personnel decisions if they saw fit. The NBA does not own Kevin Durant and could not stop him from singing where he wanted.

:francis:
Yes they owned the team but they gave the GM autonomy to make personnel moves without league interference which we see didn't happen

Trade window hadn't even opened yet and they were already trying to pass these deals off as final. Tentative agreements get pulled back all the time. :manny: The league should have never told Demps he was free to make moves. He clearly needed a babysitter.

BAY AREAAAAAAA!!!!
KEvin Durant makes golden state WORSE.

Nba let the trade had, so the world can see golden state implode upon itself.

Golden state doesnt realize they have effectively destroyed their championship hopes. Golden state is MUCH easier to guard with Durant.

You guys make think I'm crazy, but watch how this season plays out. Durant going to golden state is one of the worst superstar signings ever.

1. just watch games this season and see with your own eyes how much easier it will be for teams to guard golden state. They simply added ANOTHER ball stopper in Durant.

2. Just watch and see, how most of Golden State games will be close this season, you won't see as many blowouts since they are much easier to guard.

3. They won't even be in the finals this year.

4. Look at their advanced stats at the end of the season, I guarantee they will be WORSE than last season.

5. Team record of course, they won't even sniff 70 wins this season. Probably they will end up in the 50-55 wins range.

6. Does Durant help any of the major defensive flaws that almost cost them trip to the finals and also cost them a championship? NO

7. Does Durant change the fact that Steph curry still is one of the worst defenders in the league (a major reason, why they lost to the cavs) NO

8. Pay attention to the forced and unnatural chemistry golden state will have this season. Golden State has natural and fluent chemistry, that is gone now with Durant.

9. Durant is a LOW IQ player, he is simply not a smart basketball player. Hence why he is MAJOR reason okc never succeeded.

10. Golden states bench is MUCH WORSE then last season, and they have ZERO Depth now. If any of their starting 5 sustains a major injury or even a non major injury at the wrong time, they don't have the luxury of depth they had last season.

11. Zaza pachulia is also a LOW IQ basketball player. The main reason he gets traded around so much. Golden state lost bogut because they needed cap space to sign durant. Losing bogut will end up being a MAJOR blow. Just watch how fluid Dallas MAvericks offense will be now that they have bogut to set screens and make GREAT passes.

Durant doesn't help this team in ANY way. Golden state did NOT need ANOTHER high volume shooter who is turnover prone and suspect on defense.

I said it last season that Golden state will NEVER win another championship as long as Steph Curry is their starting point guard. Durant doesnt change this fact.

Andre Iguodala said it himself, that last season OKC was BY FAR the best team in western conference.

Durant had a better chance at winning a championship this year if he stayed with okc, and let them add few peices here in there to make them even better than last season.

nikka posted straight opinions like they're facts :laff::laff::laff::laff::laff:

This nikka was scrambling to come up with a reason why they won't succeed :laff::laff::laff:

As if we didn't need a wing who could score. :laff:

As if our key bench players aren't still intact:laff:
