There are jobs in this world and places that you will never reach without a college degree. It's the most reliable way to gain a method to escape poverty. If anything, black people should be promoting education in general, whether it is learning a trade, or taking classes necessary to gain a well-paying job.

Honestly because we are taught that it's what we are supposed to do and we need to check all the blocks to get a good ant farm position.

The majority of the education Ive received didn't teach me anything but how to pass a test. but my degree is in Emergency mangement. in which youd learn more from expirence.

College is great, for lots of reasons beyond just "get a good job". The question is, is it worth it now. The answer is, it depends. If you're going to major in English or Psychology (and don't plan to get an advanced degree) or some other generic shyt, honestly just save your time and money.
Like other dude said, if you have a plan then having an education is never ever going to hinder that plan.
