The average person cannot obtain a Stem degree but I also advocate on the job training, accepting free college courses for job advancement, and obtaining some sort of trade or doing a cert course at the community college.

Those jobs may not put them at 100k salaries but they won't be making minimum wage either.

Its something for those who are willing to put forth effort to change their situation.

I meant if you're only going to get a degree, go the STEM route.

If you're going for a so called "bs" degree, go to make connections.

I obviously wouldn't say STEM and nothing else seeing as I'm an Industrial Design major

this is my worry, im ultimately a creative type. sometimes i feel like i should stop worrying about school and put all my energies into making some great social commentary work, idk exactly what form. but i think we need it

rn im a bio major but i dont really have much of a plan. Im thinkin of getting a masters/phd in mycology because shrooms. I seriously doubt thats the smartest career choice but someone needs to study mushrooms...........

Try working shifty warehouse jobs for the rest of your life. I did it for 6 years and it leads nowhere. You'd be lucky to make $15/hour.
