So why do people love to act like it doesn’t exist?
I mean, there’s a lot of people who genuinely believe their favorite rapper made it big without any type of machine push or work from behind the scenes

Would you say hiphop may be the only genre that has the machine behind them yet still has the ability to create organic artist?
Do artist from other genres create music on their own and build their success that eventually gets the machine interested in them the way hiphop does?

Unlike those genres, rap still markets itself on being organic and raw - that's the problem
