When I came across this on amazon, just seeing the cover, I somewhat had an idea of what it was, but not really. Once I dove into it, I figured out it was a massive compilation of mostly Houston artists, past, present, and very new guys spread across over 33 tracks. Currently, I'm at track 23 (started listening during a workout, and on the way to work), and I gotta say I mostly like what I've heard so far. A handful of names will be familiar, ESG, C-Note, Ronnie Spencer, Paul Wall, Lil' Flip, Lil' Keke, etc, along with some people I'm hearing of for the first time, GCC, 14 Grams, B Down, Official Da Kid, etc. Can't find an actual production list, but it sounds like a good amount of songs are produced by either 1 person or a singular group, cause there's a pretty consistent unifying sound throughout. If you got the time, go ahead and peep it. Came out on June 7th.
