Yeah i think so. I know some in many family werediagnosed with hypertension early as well. Drugs/alcohol, family stuff, plus Pandemic and work related Stress is a big factor too I think since I’m not obese (I could def lose some weight tho )

This is an ill perception placed on us to make us not look as human
It’s one thing to be “mentally” stronger than any other race by CHOICE
But we do this out of a need of SURVIVAL
We are labeled ain’t shyt from the womb
Menaces to society no matter your hue
Then you are placed inside a box and can’t enjoy
Nor can you express yourself outside the box of what it is to be black
Now the younger generation does have more leeway and really doesn’t give a fukk about labels
Which I applaud them for
But if you are a child of the 70s to about 2005
If you did anything outside of that box
You were ridiculed to the highest order
So a lot of nikkas hide their true identities just to SURVIVE adolescence
Became crash test dummies to prove a point
And in turn created PTSD for themselves
Seeing shyt that they didn’t need to see
Experiencing things they didn’t need to
In order to be seen as a man
That’s not mentally strong shyt my nikka
That shyt wears you down over the years
Then you add on having to work at a young age
Dodging crack heads and dead bodies
Having to perform extra hard in class just to get recognition
Which makes its way to the job force because you don’t want to be seen as a diversity hire
Worrying about getting killed by a pig
Worrying about some woman lying on you while just minding your business in a store
Having to watch your tone in every situation in life
Having to get out there an get it for a whole family name
Thats not mental strength
That’s prison
It kills your body, mind and soul
Nobody should be having existential crises at 7am in the morning
Knowing if you don’t get this money
Your whole family will be homeless
Being mentally tough ain’t something to be proud of
Everybody needs somebody to talk to
Everybody needs catharsis
No man has ever made it on their own

Another reason why man-not is accurate. Black men are cursed to be treated like men when it's convenient and black when it's convenient. We lose either way. The only way we can come back from this is by supporting each other.

I see how miserable cacs are at work and shyt because their wife and kids probably aren’t shyt and their home life is a mess. They’re forced to “pay the bills and shut up”. That couldn’t be me.

That’s why it is important to keep your male centric spaces intact. Video games, movies, billiards, basketball, any little hobby where you can do it dolo or with friends. You gotta make times like that or else your mental health will deteriorate. You also got the weirdos who form a hardcore habit but I digress…
