Fishscale had a few songs that needed to be replaced after the original ones leaked. nfortunately they took it off YouTube recently but the original version of The Champ sampled Fever and the intro was directly from Rocky rather than an imitation:

Probably because the original version wasn't mixed at all but I actually prefer the album version. Closest I can find is this performance from 2007:

came in here to post this. the original version shyts all over the album version especially with the original sample.

There was an original version of “Celebration” by Kanye that had the sample, but on the album, I think they just redid the instruments. Please tell me someone has the original version somewhere.

Wifey got a family subscription for Spotify last year so I’ve been fukkin with that. If my computer wasn’t fukked then I wouldn’t have a problem because I have everything on my hard drive anyway, 5000+ albums. But since I can’t use that like I used to and put whatever I want on the phone I’ve been using Spotify a lot more. I still CAN use the laptop it just takes forever and the keyboard doesn’t work :heh: Just waiting for insurance to come through and I’ll have a new one.

Hav is a genius, but Tip doesn't get enough credit for the work he did on that album. He produced 3-4 joints on there and I think he helped clean up 6-7 songs on there with his mastering and mixing.
Yeah, he beefed up the drums on Survival of the Fittest, Eye For An Eye, Right Back At You, Up North Trip, and Trife Life.
