Because things are not going to get better and it's a lot to overcome. I watched the Yvette and Tone videos. Yvette made a good point. Labor is going to be a thing of the past. Using labor to turn into to income with hopes of it turning into wealth is an archaic way of thinking. Essentially because my family doesn't have much, I was planning to turn my good ass job into wealth for my descendents. I still plan to do it but the reality of the situation is a bummer.

This is what we been talking about. The reality is grim in this country but the media class of Blacks have basically masked Black failure which is systematic and family/community. Did you even bother to read my first post? I gave my opinion on the topic and ALSO the replies in one response, it just so happens the majority of nikkas who replied to me were only intrigued by me calling out the black woman bashing and trolls saying black women are as privileged as white women. I don't know what the significance of setting these qualifiers to specify only certain 'types' of violence over others is, instead of just getting down to the nitty gritty on violence in general in the black community of which black males face at an exponentially higher rate than black females.

In the US:

Black male homicide rate - 32.78 per 100,000.

Black female homicide rate - 4.51 per 100,000

And then you can just add that to the list of all the other ways in which black males are the most disadvantaged in society, along with rates of hiring, firing, unemployment, school punishments, school suspensions, being placed in juvenile, arrest, sentencing, false accusations, false imprisonment, homelessness, police brutality etc etc And it becomes quite clear that black males have it far worse than black females in this society. I mean, you'd have to perform some pretty fancy mental gymnastics to deny that in light of all of the tangible evidence.

And even if you do want to talk about sexual violence, males technically face higher rates of it than women, when you include that which happens in the prisons of america which, vastly outnumbers those that happen out of of prison.

So you can add black males, particularly black boys, having the highest rate of being victims of sexual assault in detention centers to the list, which in of itself is tied into mass incarcerations, disproportionate sentencing, false imprisonment, and the school to prison-pipeline which also affects black males more than any other demographic including black females and all other races of males.

Now as for the domestic violence claim, in which you seem to be conflating IPV with DV in general, and failing to include child abuse which makes up a very significant portion of the total DV, maybe even most.

Now, FILICIDES(parents killing kids) is an area where black women have to take primary responsibility, as they commit most of it. A study done by researches in Michigan who collected data on women in state prisons throughout the country found that of female filicide(parents killing children) offenders black women despite being %12 of the female population committed %71 of the filicides done by women, the most common victims were black boys.

@SharinganBoy Breh, I was trying to fall back and lurk for a while, but I couldn't ignore this. I'm getting sick of this black female exceptionalism narrative, where they're said to be more 'oppressed', but are able to climb the social ladder more than black males due to supposedly being exceptionally smart, hard working, and moral. Basically diminishing our struggles while attempting to attribute our hardships to our flaws.

50 cent is an example. 50 hasn’t groomed his son to take over his businesses when he dies. That wealth more than likely won’t be passed down to him. White businesses can be traced with family ownership for decades. We need to leave our children something to build on but we don’t more time than we do.
