So Optional DRM is same as no DRM right?

Today you're being told its not enabled by SONY but 3rd parties can if they want.

Son it's cause they're NOT implementing DRM..how the fukk would they know what future 3rd party publishers might wanna do with THEIR OWN GAME?...but SONY won't be implementing shyt...this publisher information has been the same shyt that has been explained MONTHS ago...and guess what..with Sony..u have the option to NOT buy the game if they implement DRM...same can't be said about the Xbox One as DRM is ROOTED in the infrastructure and the way the system operates...regardless of the publisher...

He said no game activations yesterday on stage then today it's we make the platform and we welcome our publishers business models and we won't dictate what they do. It's funny cause they can stand up and dictate developers implement remote play on Vita on all non-camera games but they can't seem to dictate no online activations of games.

What you wanted Jack Tretton to say was "We won't be allowing 3rd parties to add DRM to their games" so when you heard him say that they won't automatically be adding any sort of restrictions you seem to have spazzed out...not finish hearing what he had to say and didn't even look at the image below.
