Sony paid 380million dollars for Gaikai so that they could make that money back by selling YOU PS1/2/3 games via PS-NOW
They have NO history of giving a shyt about its customer base, from ignoring the Disc Read Error issues that plagued the PS2, the yellow light error problem with the PS3, or even when PSN went down, they said there lack of security isn't their fault.
So if you think they will do any of what you suggest? My questioon to you is what you gonna do if they don't? Support them like you always do (You meaning sony fans as a collective) if that is the case, you gotta look at company trends. Sony is not an innovator in that space. They like to copy what the competition is doing. So if backwards compatibility beomces a big enough issue you'll get it in some form.
The problem is in a console war, emotions makes gamers say a lot of things. The popular trend is for a sony gamer to say backwards compatibility isn't an issue. Sony is listening and hoping you're saying such things. They looking for any excuse NOT to do it. 380million dollars is at stake. I wouldn't be surprised if sony has people flooding message boards with that exact message
