I can honestly say I think about more Sopranos lines than the Wire and I HATE Italian-Americans who “just saw Rocky” LOLLLL
The Sopranos did have some funny lines...
"I can pay my respects to the man from the after-party" - Uncle Jun ha ha...
The Wire had great lines too...
"His name rang out, but huh, so do mine" - Cheese..

I think maybe the issue is one of scope. Sopranos handles the human condition and The Wire handles the institutional/systematic. Both shows haven’t been touched in almost 20 years.

I didnt like the fact that Omar was done in by a little nikka and never faced off with Marlo
I also didnt like how Avon was basically nonexistant for the final 2 seasons.

I just finished the Sopranos and it’s OVERRATED AS fukk. It greatly benefits from being one of the first “prestige” shows out. It’s a good show but It doesn’t stand up to later shows of its kind like Breaking Bad, Ozark, ect..
