Can't believe we're having a conversation with an artist like Andre who hasn't even made one proper solo album. Even further, how can he be Top 10 in front of all of those solo legends, when he hasn't even put out MULTIPLE solo albums? And not even one solo classic album

So you're willing to put Andre and leapfrog him into even the Top 20, ahead of the solo rappers who have had near classics with about 4 or 5 good albums they put out? Hilarous

Please. This is Hip Hop, my n!gga. THERE IS SUCH A THING AS A CERTIFIED CLASSIC. And Liquid Swords is one of them. And I believe Q-Tip is a better MC than Too Short but why bring them up? They both have solo albums and neither one of them are considered Top MCs of all time MCs.

big got a solo deal..with grand hustle..was ready to release it..jive sent letters sayin anything with andre on it...need to be removed or lawsuits were comin..

pissed big off..went to def jam..red did the album..n finally got a release date...




dre the only mc that get flack from critics...but his peers..put em in their top 5 of all time dead or alive..nikkas like scarface rankin him as one his favorites of all time..

Outkast first 3 albums are right there with Tribes first 3, PE too. People just talking ignorant and reckless about their work.

And let's not act like if Andre dropped a solo album with Organized Noize in 1996 that that shyt wouldn't have been absolutely bananas.

Andre had never dropped a weak 16 in his life and he's still doing it today.

People forget too that Andre was raw on the mic in his early days. Listen to a song like DEEP. His 2 verses were crazy, he really couldn't be fukked with at that time.

GZA made a certified classic...A SOLO...has a string of really dope SOLO albums (doesn't have a bad solo in his discography) and he is another rapper that is mentioned often when talks of rappers who never dropped a wack verse come up. He definitely deserves to be mentioned over Andre.

GZA is dope as hell Liquid Swords and his work with DJ Muggs were real dope. He's not better than Andre though.
