Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high
Little Haiti is pretty much a shell of it's former self.

Haitians that owned property there have been getting big bags from developers.

They take that money and buy properties in Broward, West Palm, and the Orlando area.

My Godfather had a Triplex in the Lil Haiti area that he bought in 1997 for 80k. He sold it in 2021 for 720k to a Brazilian developer.
I don't blame him. I got 2 zoe homies that their parents did the same.

Money talks, bullshyt walks

Miami is Cuba now. Has been for at least 2 decades now. They got privileges others didn't. they were allowed to come over and stay while others were sent back. They got/get benefits like welfare, Medicaid, housing, etc as soon as they get here, yet pretend to be against socialism.

Miami was built by Bahamians way before Cubans started coming over.

Doesn't matter now tho, Cubans run all aspects of Miami, to the point where if you don't speak Spanish you're looked down on by a lot.
I’m not discounting what Bahamians did I’m speaking specifically to the drug money infusion that made Miami what it is today

Cubans practically built the city of Miami with all that drug money from the 70,80s… but honestly speaking it’s better spots in FL than Miami if we keeping it 100
False

Black people built Miami

From swamps to cane plantations to people living there

The Jewish people also built Miami before Cubans ever came there

Sounds like Socialism to me :mjpls:

Jokes aside that’s how most prosperous communities roll. It’s not because they work harder it’s because of connections and handouts. Once you got some people inside the system looking out for you then your going to be Gucci. Black people lack institutional and economic power so we can’t pull the same moves. Presently

This.

Everyone talks that pro free market babble, but as soon as they have the power they eliminate competition to maintain monopolies and control for selected groups.

And Black people would have a difficult time doing that in the US because whites would do everything possible to undermine it.

For example when Jay Z started Roc Nation sports cacs started getting aggy about it :mjpls:

Live your own life
I be wanting to move to Florida so badly, specifically South Florida, but then the reality of living under the racist thumb of Cubans and super inbred cacs hits me and I’m like nah, I’m cool.
South Florida is a great place to live if you got your money right. I have met many nice Cuban people. I haven't met a racist Cuban in Miami; however, they practice nepotism heavily. To get ahead, you either start a profitable business or enter a field where is not monopolize by the Hispanics
Little Haiti is the worst of the 3. Once Haitians get comfy and settled North Miami and NMB are where they reside.

Haitians control both those cities and are doing very well there

Nobody isn't going to look down on you if you don't speak Spanish. Speaking Spanish is beneficial for job opportunities. It isn't a necessity. However, you can still thrive in Miami without learning Spanish that all depends on your choice of career or business.

@OfTheCross , We did well in our population growth in South Florida and have gained political positions in the local government to access and distribute resources to the Haitian community. But I don't think we are prospering economically striving. Many of the Haitian businesses are small businesses like restaurants, churches, tax businesses. I would love to see a corporation that is run by Haitians that can create more job opportunities for other people beside the usual small business that are operated by nepotism.
