Don't forget about that caste system shyt. You are born in an inescapable tier on the social hierarchy of India and skin color is a determining factor. So there are similarities in terms of context. But what also needs to be addressed is if all of this self love and love for your skin color is genuine why do you treat other dark skin people the way you get treated when you're amongst your own? Everybody wants their turn huh?

The Truth
I fukks with it :manny:

They probably are insecure about it... Thats where they were brought up. A place where being dark gets you treated like shyt and they probably always wished they were light skinned.

I have no problem with them embracing their darkness... No different from when black people on this very site do the same thing.

Or back in the day when Pac and others was trying to preach about having pride in being dark.

They're just decades behind us like most foreign countries.
