This was my fav rapper when I was young. Ahead of his time. My personal fav top 5 all time.

His first two albums are better than Kanes, but nobody wanna discuss that.:sas2:
Doing great until you said this nonsense. Legal was amazing though. Kane had too many classic songs on the first and classics and hits on the second. Ed's music has aged incredibly well for 80s rap though.
Ed came out at the right time in hip hop as far as making creative dope albums, but the wrong time for longevity purposes. Victim of those wack ass 80s Indy labels.

Dude is only a year older than Nas and younger than Jay.
If you were on Profile and not named Run-DMC, you either sold a ton or got neglected. Ask Smoothe Da Hustler.

Profile was known for just letting really dope albums die on the shelves.

They put out Smoothe while he had a street classic in "Broken Language" and didn't market or promote the album, at all. They did the same with Poor Righteous Teachers and Camp Lo. Dudes had huge records poppin' when they dropped, but Profile didn't want to spend a dime more on helping the albums go further.

Sound sound sound
He’s way too secretive with a lot of answers ..with like common generic questions

And the whole “appropriation” thing In regards to the hip hop 50 concert is a stupid take…I’m sure every artist there got less than they usually do when it’s a full actual concert for them to perform…

shyt was at Yankee stadium …they aren’t doing that shyt with free tickets :mjlol: …literally no company is doing that
