sounds like your boy is a sucker. when I first got married, I spent a small amount on a ring. cuz I didn't have money. but it was paid for and didn't put me in debt. then later on, as my money increased, I got her a better ring :yeshrug:

i feel u should get a better one the longer u are with ur partner it shows that long lasting love u got for each other

Spent an affordable price for the wife's. Got the actual wedding bands for free.

Wedding had 200 people, but we had hors d'oeuvres and dessert. It was an afternoon wedding, so people still could eat dinner afterwards. We took the party and our families out for dinner after. Hopped on a plane and hit the honeymoon right after.

Didn't break the bank, even had a chef from The Food Network do the food. People still talkin bout it. We did what our money let us do, and it was a good, memorable time for everybody

Buy what you can afford. Here's a thought. There are folk here saying spending big money on a ring is retarded. I think spending big money on the wedding ceremony is retarded.

Think about how much you spend on a car....and that mahfukka depreciates the moment you drive it off the lot. A ring will either hold its value or go up. So it's at least an OK investment.

That's "barbershop talk" like how nikkas in this forum act like they won't settle for anything less than a virgin 10, when in reality they're chasing after the hood's leftovers.
She'll accept any ring that comes along most likely, she was just showing off for her fellow brehettes.

If most women will "accept anything" then why should men even bother getting a ring. If a woman loves you she would be down to go to the county hall and get married with no rings involved.

a ring doesnt mean shyt. you could buy her a $4 million dollar ring :childplease:and she could leave you anytime. why waste money on rings when you can use that money towards a better house or your childrens' college fund? People spend their money on the stupidest shyt.
