Seems irresponsible of Dr Strange to cast that spell. I'm not well versed on his comic book portrayal but in terms of the MCU this seems so out of character. I know it's required for the plot but it feels like bad writing at this point.

I mean, wouldn't he at least explain the consequences to Peter BEFORE casting the spell? :gucci:

How come spider man is getting al these movies yet we still have just one Black Panther movie?

Cause spiderman is the main marvel property that Sony owns so them clowns at sony keep going to the well over and over again cause it prints money.

If marvel studio didn't cut a deal with Sony to help with the spiderman movies and get cross overs with their characters. These new spiderman movies would be God awful.

Cause of Sony greedy asses expect to see no less than 3 to 6 more spiderman movies this decade.

They could've went the comic book route and had him create a dimensional portal ala Batman or introduce madam Webb...this whole father figure helps boy spider is cringe as all hell.
-Spidey going to Strange for help with this makes perfect sense since he knows he has the Time Stone. Him randomly meeting Madam Webb out of nowhere to ask for help would make no fukking sense whatsoever. Neither would MCU Spidey being able to make a dimensional portal. He's nowhere near the level of comic Spidey in any form.

-I'll give you the Iron Man shyt though, I hated it. The Strange shyt just seems like he's just asking for help, not a mentor.

-Spidey was supposed to be up front moving forward with the MCU. Panther was supposed to play a major role too but Chadwick dying put a lot of that on hold. I think they shoulda just recast the character but it is what it is.

In the comic books, he did it with the help of Tony Stark.

He is arrogant so taking the risk doesn't surprise me. He'd reason that he is skilled enough to do it properly.

.

After the stupidity/bad writing of having him give up Stark Tech to basically a stranger who was relating to him, I honestly don't care what they do. Its all horrible writing since movie 1. At this point, and after the time shenanigans in Endgame, I'm sure we'll buy anything coming from the MCU.
