Do you honestly think he would cast a spell knowing that it would cause chaos? Looks like Peter's interference messed the spell up.
How does Strange not immediately say "no" to this kind of dumbass spell

It actually makes more sense as Him, Tony Starks and Peter Parker are top 10 smartest in the MCU (as well as Mr. Fantastic and Professor X). They can kinda relate to fukkery like in the comics.Seems irresponsible of Dr Strange to cast that spell. I'm not well versed on his comic book portrayal but in terms of the MCU this seems so out of character. I know it's required for the plot but it feels like bad writing at this point.
I mean, wouldn't he at least explain the consequences to Peter BEFORE casting the spell?
