it came out in august, limited release. some theaters only had it for one week
Clark Peters was great, some of the other actors were good.
The story sucked tho and the kid actors.
its absolutely not a continuation or sequel. It doesnt even take place in the same neighborhood in Brooklyn, lol. And Mookie's role is basically just a cameo.
There is another cameo in the movie from an older Spike Lee movie that people probably slept on tho.

I've never been molested or anything but I know some folks that have. this kinda hit home in a weird ass way. Like Ill never know how the people I know will feel and it seems like the movie portrays that with Flick in a weird ass way....

that twist was the best part of the movie. the scene when dude comes out and tells what happened. Dude is trying to continue his BS sermon even after it. Then the cross in his eyes as he looks up. It was a powerful scene. But for whatever reason Spike felt the need to show the actual molestation taking place
